you could thin it out in the upper crown and or bring down the top slightly. They could commission a proper report on the health and risk of the tree. Seems a shame to fell. carl

we use a one handed fuchs screw in cartridge one, seems good one hand to pump one to hold nozzle. much better than the traditional ones!( always ended up with more grease over me than anything else )

i have just sold a ride on ( 36" deck 12 hp b+s engine manual gears) it had been standing for a couple of years but started and ran fine, till the guy ran it today and said it konked and that fuel was leaking from around the carb and it wouldnt start???? so i said i could take a look so just after a few pointers of things to check. thanks carl.

ye i tried a flat file once!, it wasnt having any of it just skidded around so gave up. should check the bar again and maybe buy a diamond dresser, dont seem to burr much though. carl

interesting thread the 261 at work has been crap, it cuts great but needs constant needle bearing replacements, so i think " reliability" is the key word for a professional saw. carl

i have one of these and i was just looking at it its the swivel version and there seems to be a bit of play from side to side on the hex bolt part of the swivel ?? wondering if any one else has noticed this, its not so old. thanks carl

just got these trousers in type "C" , the fit seems ok but as i mince round the house trying to simulate my dynamic climbing moves by putting my leg up on window sills the trousers seem a bit tight at the top of the thighs, so my question to people who have these is do they loosen up with wear?? thanks carl:001_smile:

have you got a manual for the machine?, could be worth sourcing if your unfamiliar with the machine. some anvils are reversible so you can turn it over and use the other edge. id get a second set of blades as you would probably want them whilst the old ones are being sharpened. redwood global have been helpful for the work jensen. carl

if your not sure about the blades then there probably blunt! when back from a sharpening they are scaryingly sharp, that would be the first place to look id say. carl

thanks for the replies regarding a grab, we have a job felling a load of sitkas so thought a digger n grab would be handy for moving the timber sticks about. carl

quick question is there a log grab that would fit a normal 3.5ton mini digger on hire with no modification required? thanks carl
