  1. Unbelievable, it didn't sound like he even gave a sht!
  2. Thats the kind of file you find hiding in the corner at the bottom of the tool box, like a tin of John West tuna in the back of the cupboard. TBH, the chain in the last pic doesnt look sharp. Grab yourself a new file and spend a good 5-10 minutes sharpening the chains up and dropping the rakers a bit.
  3. Gadzookes! That was a split second away from a gross negligence manslaughter charge.
  4. If your man is making such a big deal out of removing a laurel then I suggest you get someone else to do it. Your neighbour probably realises it's BS.
  5. Due to the overwhelming interest in my previous post I thought it best to post this. U.S. fighter jet shoots down object over Canada, Trudeau says WWW.REUTERS.COM The downing over the Yukon Territory was the second in as many days as North America...
  6. US shoots down unknown object 'the size of a small car' after it entered airspace near Alaska WWW.GOOGLE.COM The incident took place just days after fighter jets shot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon... The preppers won't be sleeping tonight!
  7. I'm sorry to hear that you missed your calling mate. I'm sure it had everything to do with your massive appendage and nothing to do with asking squadron leader Cecil where do you put the empty stella cans.
  8. Ha, good grief. Of course it's discrimination against the others but it's a positive outcome for the person who got the job, hence the word 'positive'
  9. Shirley there must be a tesla owner amongst us who can give a bit of feedback?
  10. I guess he is too busy saving Gotham City in his battractor mobile. Nice tractor btw.
  11. That doesn't make any sense though. If the state school kids were equally gifted then Shirley they will have achieved the same exam results? Or am I missing something?
  12. Ok. You have a job interview, you did or didn't get the job for the following reasons. 1. You didn't get the job because you're white. Discrimination. 2. You did get the job because you're white. Positive discrimination.
  13. Your opinion on this instance doesn't matter though. Why would your opinion on the definition of something change the definition of said thing? Look up the legal terms of discrimination and then the legal terms of positive discrimination. I'm not having a go at you mate but opinions don't trump facts.
  14. But it is positive discrimination rather than discrimination! Anyway whatever you want to call it it shouldn't happen.
  15. Very WWI like. I've been following it but only through msm because, well, there's no other way to follow it really. I don't really know what to make of it all tbh, it's not like it's the same as one the other God knows how many wars going on around the planet atm.
  16. I dunno how long it takes for a dog to dry off and maybe it didn't go into the water but she did. Who knows but it must be a terrible time for the family, especially the young kids. It would be far more horrendous if she has been abducted.
  17. Well that makes four of us up to now.
  18. It's not far off a year since this all kicked off! Is anyone really following the war anymore or has it just become something going on over there?
  19. My thoughts go out to her family and friends. My thoughts on what happened are that maybe her dog went into the river, or headed that way and she went in or fell in trying to save it. I presume that the police have a better idea of what happened and no doubt use they media to their advantage.
  20. How disappointing! This is 56k dial up download of 'Back door to Sweden' only to find out its a dodgy VHS copy of superman 2.
  21. I always loved his comedy. If he was still alive he would be 105, now that makes me feel very old indeed!
  22. Spot on. Especially with small owner run businesses.
  23. Believe me when I say it takes far more effort to sned out and bundle up brash by the arm full then it is to to grab a few but ends and and haul it out. I can't really offer any decent advice to the op on how to deal with it other than make it crystal clear to the workers about the consequences of their actions. In regards to docking their pay I'm fairly sure you could, as its negligence but I think it comes down to what is written in their contract. It's not s road that many small business would go down mind. It could be a storm in a tea cup when you actually see the damage done. Hopefully! I hope you can sort it out with minimal cost and grievance
  24. I was thinking the same. Poplar, wet, very wet poplar.
