  1. If all it takes is 10 minutes to pass a cs39 then it's not what the paper is written on,imo.
  2. Fck me! How big are you 'pint' glasses!
  3. What would you do then if you were in charge? I see a lot of people whinging, never ending fcking whinging but let's see some constructive effective solutions then as you must have the answers.(Not aimed souly at you MC Moose) It's just like watching a game of football on the tv, so easy to score, unless you're on the pitch with defenders around your ankles. Tier 5 in less than two weeks I guess.
  4. That's the reason why it's caused the news. You need to read the 'olds' if you need answers to those questions :). I've never seen a news story on the physics of how a plane flys but plenty about 'new' plane crashes. Anyway it's Christmas soon, tis the season to be jolly....
  5. That's a cracker. Definitely one for halloween!
  6. Now they are some cracking photos. ?
  7. You've been watching Innerspace again havent you! Innerspace (1987) - IMDb WWW.IMDB.COM Directed by Joe Dante. With Dennis Quaid, Martin Short, Meg Ryan, Kevin McCarthy. A test pilot is miniaturized in a secret... Ive heard they are still this big and the vaccine is given as a suppository ?
  8. Yeah, I can see Russia and China signing up to that, plus there are a lot of vaccines out there that Bill has no control over. ? Who on earth would sign up to take a vaccine that has a tracking microchip in it! Besides, how small do you think they can make tracking microchips that are OK to roam about in your blood?
  9. 21. Maybe its time I talk to Mum about buying a house of my own. Seriously though I didnt realise I was in the company of so many TV celebs! It explains a lot 6,12,14 and 17 for me.
  10. FUCK OFF, is that what you say to the kid? It's a very sad state of affairs when we argue over feeding children. Yes a lot of parents are to blame(not all of them though) but to deny a child a decent meal a day is criminal. Sorry my bad, its the jokes section, obviously a joke.
  11. I was going they would scrap hs2 as it is probably no longer needed as more people are working from home these days which is likely to carry on no matter how the current situation changes, plus we could do with not spending the £100 billion or so squid.
  12. Ok, sorry to hear that but what would you do if you were in charge? I'm sure a lot of other vulnerable people wouldn't like to take their chances so how would you protect them? I think there are about 3 million of them in the UK plus there dependants.
  13. Just a generall rant to anyone that can be arsed to read it. I can't type and quote as fast as you lads.
  14. Didn't you say that you were not wearing a mask when you could get away with it and that you were actively not distancing? That goes against all medical science so I would say that yes you are putting your family at risk. If I thought like you do I would have gotten my family out of this country a long time ago otherwise I'm putting them at risk of living in a genocidall controlling government. If I thought Sweden was the last safe haven on the planet I would be posting from there.
  15. Ok. So apart from voicing your options on social media and not wearing a mask your doing nothing at all productive to improve things. I was expecting far better tbh. No one is ok with the restrictions, why would they be? No one wants to distance, wear a mask or be subject to lockdown. Just because I don't agree with something doesn't make it wrong. I realised that when I grew up. How do we shield the old and vulnerable, realistically? The only way would be to lock them all together in a warehouse and throw a food parcel in now and then. Nice plan. What happens to those that depend or care for the vulnerable is another matter altogether. You do realise that some vulnerable people have children/parents that live with them, some children/parents rely on them for income, some children/parents look after and care for them. How many people do we need to lock in a cell? A good few million at the very least. That or distance, wear a mask and and have a bit of 'real' common sense. I don't want to argue with you lads as that doesn't get us anywhere I was just interested as to what you are actively doing to chance the situation we are all in or to get yourselves out of it. I just feel that while people are fighting this they are just prolonging the situation and causing more suffering.
  16. Sorry but that doesn't make sense to me. How can you their that back at me. I'm asking what are you doing to make a change/stance against something that you think is terribly wrong. It's like when someone says we should just protect the vulnerable as though that's it, as some as that. No explanation whatsoever as to go about it.
  17. You could do far better than just voice your option, I know what I would do if I thought it was all a lie. The welfare of my family would be far more important than my job, that's for sure.
  18. Come on, that's a bit of a cop out. How do you expect anyone to listen to you if you find have any answers.
  19. I'm not trying to start an argument but I'm genuinely interested in what you two are actively doing about it? Seriously, if we are all being lied to then what's your next move?

Second that. I know a few lads that didn't know how it worked, got stiffed and had to pay the tax man. In other words their employer took 20% but didn't give it to the tax man. It is for labour only so if you can word your invoice that labor is a small part of your costs then you can keep more of the money in your bank for longer.
  21. There is that too ? With a name like Isambard Kingdom Brunel you have no option but to achieve great things.
  22. I can't agree more. David has always been a great asset to arbtalk. Well done and well deserved David.
  23. As most of the above 1.5x for Saturday and 2x for an Sunday, although I don't think I have ever worked on a Sunday! It really depends on who you work for and why you're working the weekend IMO. If I was freelancing and wanted to work the weekend for a bit of extra money I wouldnt expect the boss to pay me more than a normal day rate but if I was pricing a job that had to be done on the weekend I would charge more and pay myself and the lads the extra. I also wouldnt ask anyone to work the weekend without offering them more pay. Time and a half or double time isnt an excessive amount to ask for IMO.
  24. Soft, strong and very absorbent.
  25. Instead of worrying about running out of bog roll I just bought a load of rabbits. They keep the grass down and are self cleaning.
