  1. I don't think there's a lot of money in monking these days. An old Frank Spencer sketch.
  2. 👍 What was the size of that beast?
  3. 130 years! Well I never. Nice find. 👍
  4. I know one of the lads tried this years ago from a redwood we pruned, horrible bleedin job btw. Didn't work for him. He did also try putting them in the fridge or freezer I can't remember which.
  5. If your using good quality chains ie stihl or oregon and the sharpening is good then it must be your oil. Bars should last for a very long time, I have no idea about how many chains but at least 10.
  6. At least it will provide a bit of greenery and wildlife, better than it not being there IMO.
  7. Old Unckle Lofthouse had a good thread on whiskeys, worth a search.
  8. RIP Prince Philip Definitely a bit of a character.
  9. Yes I presume, I didn't make the decision so I can't say for definite. Surely it makes sense to keep testing, why wouldn't they? It's not going to magically go away because ucl said herd immunity is nearly here. I haven't read much about what bc I said, did they give any advice on what they recommend we should do if they are correct?
  10. "Not wanting to sound like 42 but the mass lateral flow testing rollout rational." I assume so as it's to help stop the spread of the virus and any other variants I presume. Why else would they do it?
  11. "The more I look at the MSM headlines the more I see the arguments for any of this making sense literally falling apart." Dont look at the headlines and read the data maybe. Did I really need to tell you that Its all coulds and maybes and only from one source. Hopefully yes we are heading that way, but do you really think everyone is going to say right then, lets stop all vaccines and move back to 2019 right now or are they going to follow through with the plan set out. The sooner we can back to normality the better, hence why I think it important to follow the science (the vast majority of science) so it happens quicker. I hate the current situation we are in but whinging about it will do SFA. If it does turn out to be a big conspiracy then dont worry about it, the people who have been doing the right thing will be more than pissed to sort it out. Anyway, so in other news Experts dismiss UCL model claiming herd immunity is imminent for UK WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Health secretary Matt Hancock resists calls to accelerate reopening of society following research published by...
  12. Interesting stuff.
  13. I would definitely prefer those to a standard fence or wall.
  14. I guess removing it and planting something more suitable is out of the question? It does look like a bit of a mess to say the least! I presume it would cost a hell of a lot less than piling?
  15. Well you can get bayonet style bulbs now though.
  16. Not an invention but harnessing electricity was a fairly great achievement. The light bulb makes an awful lot of things possible.
  17. 😄 Now that deserves an award.
  18. It was his dad, you should switch the lights on next time. Rule one, never cuckold in the dark.
  19. Are you completely sure the insurance, yours or the neighbors won't cover at least some of it? Sometimes they won't pay to remove the entire the tree but they will pay to replace the fence, shed etc. If part of the tree needs removing to replace the damaged shed or fence then they will pay for that, it's surprising how much that will cost.

    Covid-19

That is pathetic. That is a truly horrible way of thinking about things, that is the thought of a psychopath. It proves that you really have no idea on how life is. Fck me, I grew up with kids that if they didnt have a regular school meal would be in a right old state, their parents certainly werent wasting their income as they had fck all, people fall on hard times and if the government arent there to help out then they can fcking hang along with those that agree with them. Honestly, you have some major, major problem. Ive never known someone who can be so toxic so much of the time. You constantly attack people from the off, attack people when your not even talking about them and have some weird warped sense of reality. I have never seen someone spoken about so badly as you have been, think of all the people that have put you on the ignore list, that usually happens very very infrequently. I don't think I have seen anyone else calling someone's autistic child a window licker or for some reason accusing someone of being a paedophile then deleting your post, you have a screw loose somewhere. Its not worth me even trying to respond properly to your post as you would not want to even try to understand. You are toxic mate and I know you will be laughing at this and calling me a snowflake, a wet blanket etc but im putting you on the ignore list, you are the only one I will have on that list. Ive worked with people like you in the past and thats really easy to deal with, you call them the cnt that they are and you distance yourself from them, its harder on social media but im 100% going to give it a try.

    Covid-19

Well it is the Tories and since they cba feeding hungry kids making sure the NHS doesnt see that £22 billion isnt going to bother them one bit. I agree it is criminal but no doubt it will be brushed under the carpet, £22 Billion is a hell of a lot of money though! Ive heard nothing about HS2 but if that doesnt get shelved especially since in the current climate it will be needed less than ever then that can go down as another criminal act, must be around the £80 Billion mark that they can save by axing it. Hopefully we will be seeing the end of lockdown within the next month or so as although it helps with controlling the spread of the virus it is indeed devastating for all of us.

Yes my last response here too. You haven't answered anything at all! You suspect that members of sage are making decisions with their own interests at heart but you don't know who is doing it, why they are doing it and more importantly what it is they are doing. All you have done is point to an article that asks for more transparency so we can see if there are any conflicts of interest. The fact that most of the medical profession agree with sages decisions should surely make you think your theory is unfounded.

    Covid-19

You can see with your own eyes the problems these restrictions cause but think it's ok for the vulnerable to be locked away as long as you and your own can go back to normal! Wow. It would be far more devastating for the vulnerable and their careers/immediate family who will also have to shield if they were locked away while we all got on with things. Thankfully no government has gone down that route and non will, except many North Korea. No doubt there are big differences between Norway and the UK as there is obviously something seriously wrong here in the UK. We have basically the worst death rate in the world even with all our restrictions. Do you not think that if we followed Norway's plan the death and infection rate would be far far worse than it is now?

    Covid-19

I had already seen that tbh. But that didn't answer the question of what vested interests do they have and what decisions are they pushing through? You don't answer anything, pointing to some document doesnt prove your theory. Since you've read it all show me the part that proves they have these so called vested interests and that they are changing the out come of their decisions. You spoon feed nothing of use, aren't you surprised why people keep asking you the same questions?
