  1. Something needs to be done to help growth in small business. Whether that's tax breaks or incentives to employ or just the help with loaning I dont know but the large business have had it far too good for far too long. Makes me sick to see companies complaining that their profits are down by £xxxmillion and how they are struggling. Many small firms have been losing money not profit.
  2. You need a new banksman! You need to see something in the mirrors, if its not the chipper or bits added on to help its a good banksman who doesnt just randomly wave then grubble stop when you are a nanometre away from something!
  3. brought a tear to my eye. Thats the kind of Karma I receive.
  4. Had quite a few in knuckle joints that more or less stop me having grip for a few days. Thankfully it has mainly been in my left hand.
  5. I am hoping it is oyster mushroom, but not 100%. I have circled it in red so not to cause confusion.
  6. To be bluntly honest nothing, I only joined because I didnt like my new harness and I still have it. Besides that all I have gleaned its lots of relevant info in regards to my business.

  8. First pic looks like a decent one, second pic the crane driver looks a bit worried(love the halloween pumpkin carving on the crane hook ball btw:thumbup1:), third pic perspective looks a bit to cock, I hope:confused1:, fourth pic-oh my, thats a big one! As echoded, thats one of the biggest lombardies I have seen, top show.
  9. As long as they do a mechanical check on the truck then they sound superb. Looks like a right horrible section on a set of spikes!! Only JK on the first comment(I feel the need to say that to be politically and humanely correct) but its usually the machine that fails and kills the OP rather than the OP doing something silly.
  10. I have had the odd smoke or two since giving up 2 years ago. Never felt like starting up again, but they tasted better than I can ever remember. To me its not the nicotine at all that held me to the cigs its the habit that surrounds them. It is the best thing you can do to improve your health so stay with the quitting and remember you aint a failure if you go back, just as long as its not permanent.
  11. You got caught with two accounts, the other being that of an inquisitive 19year old girl?
  12. What an intelligent comment! How do I know of I like something without reading it? Anyway, don't post questions on a public open forum if you don't like comments.
  13. The answer is, its a shite tree. It's not very often I take a Lombardy down that isn't rotting in the middle. An before anyone says something silly they don't all come down because of noticeable rot.
  14. Tbh never had a problem with them. Even with fairly old 020t ones. Just make sure the manifold is all on nice and square before you put the plastic clamp on.
  15. Another sad and tragic story. Cant imagine how bad it was for his wife who was on the job. It is good to see that some safety devices work well and do save lives.
  16. If it was more reasonably priced I would use, but not when its 3 times the price plus I would have to buy loads and store it rather than fill a 20l jerry can every week. I assume the government are stilling walloping taxes on it equivalent to road fuel?
  17. Usually the insurance will appoint a structural engineer to carry out test to see if it could be the tree. They monitor the movement over a period of time.
  18. Working fine on mobile(android) now:thumbup1:
  19. Terrible tragedy and thoughts to her friends and family. Those not happy with the way the emergency services are run could always join up and show them how to do it. Obviously some mistakes were made or should I say decisions not made but I'm sure they save many hundreds of lives everyday that none of us hear about. Aren't we lucky that if we feck up the worst is usually a broken fence panel or a late finish and not someones life.
  20. Tis a great season to receive tips ATM! £50 each and a bottle of Irish moonshine was one of the best.

    Bail Out

    That is quite brilliant!!
  22. No its not called learning it's called being lazy. They get an assignment, they copy and paste it into here then copy and paste the answer back to their tutor, where is the learning bit in that? I am also for asking questions and God knows I've asked many but I do try to put some thought behind them(most of the time:001_smile:) and try to expand on any answers or questions that may then arise. Besides my hard earned taxes are being spent on this education which from what I can see is money poorly spent! BTW I am critiquing the lack of tutoring that seems to go on rather than the students. Surely you must be able see how extremely poor the questions are. Tbh, if not much thought has gone into the question how can anyone expect much thought to go into the answer. Anyway, back to the OP, the answer is yes. If you get any marks for that then the tutor wants shooting.
  23. Jesus, I'm sorry but enoughs enough. Aren't YOU supposed to think about these questions and try to come up with a logical and practical answer/solution? Come on don't they teach you anything at all?
  24. Shite filled nappies and dog turds!!! Jesshhh I hope you dont toast marshmellows on there. I bet Hugh Fearnley doesnt do that while smoking a ham in his chimney breast.
  25. Always swap hands as crossing is when the accidents happen! Although I assume you mean with a chainsaw not a silky.
