  1. theres one on ebay for £4900, theres a mate of mine just sold a cracker for £6000
  2. ive not had a lot of experience with bigger stumpgrinders thats why i put the spade in the photos to get a scale for the height of it, wasnt sure how high they could go.

  4. Went to Much Marcle Steam Fair last year and found this beauty in a local grave yard.
  5. Been asked to have a look at this stump, the walls were built over the roots, stump is full of wire, customer would like it removed, just wondering how you would go about it. Thank you.

  8. sorry to hear about yet another theft martyn, remember your in valley commando country up there, a lot of unemployment and people will nick absolutely anything, the worse thing about it is that something like a chainsaw will get sold for the price of 8 cans of stella, but the tractor sounds more organised crime, theres a company doing some clearance work not far from me and they leave a tracked jensen and plant trailer by the side of the road overnight, they might be asking for trouble, hope nothing else goes missing for you.

  10. maybe thats why it is a problem because youve got to pay, they dont charge for household waste round here, and ive heard that a big amenity site not far from here is taking buisness green waste free of charge for mulching.
  11. the farm where i tip is glad of it, in return i get to borrow tractor and trailer when i need one, never paid to tip chip

  14. whats that youve filled the holes with? an old guy showed me a really nice way of filling holes in burrs, file some old brass down with a fine file, keep the filings and mix them with araldite, fill the holes with the mixture and sand back down after glue has gone hard, nice shiny bits in the wood, looks lovely on stick handles.
  15. if you are upgrading to new i wouldnt do any alterations most probably void your warranty
  16. i hired a 3 ton digger off my mate today but the cab was a bit dirty and it had mud on the tracks so i think it must have been poorly mentained!
