  1. recently cleared a garage of ivy, luckily it all peeled off the roof in one big piece and didnt do no damage to the brickwork, if its a slate roof you may have the ivy growing under them
  2. done my 30 31 with them found them really good
  3. got a pair of peltors, had them a couple of years now really pleased with them, i think they cost about £80 now,

    did a job for a guy this week who owns a smallholding, his land is on an SSSI and he was asking if i knew if there were any grants availible to fence his boundary, any help appreciated:001_smile:
  9. when i was still in school in the summer holidays i used to help in a local butter factory, one day one of the guys working there holding a screwdriver asked me to go and ask one of the women on the line for a long hard screw, i was passed along the line until they all burst out laughing.

  14. what do you mean by cheating, do you mean when shleck had mechanical problems on one of the climbs, i dont think contador did anything wrong on that climb when he attacked, racing is racing.

  16. a lot of caravaners i know use small solar panels to trickle charge their batteries, we have also bought a solar panel electric fencer for our pheasant pens, but we havent tried them yet
  17. i know that the plastic nets dont break down very well, a few years ago there was a lot of cockle picking going on around our local estuarys, lots of net bags were discarded by the pickers,our wildfowling club picked thousands up but there are some still being washed up and after a few years in the sea they are perfectly usable.
  18. why are you taking advantage of customers by selling by a builders bag? as long as you tell them its a builders bag and not a ton bag!
  19. eurosport show it live every day, only trouble with itv is they show it at about midnight, as said some great battles been done in the past, still got on video (remember them) stephen roche,s epic mountain top stage finish when he collapsed at the top.

    i think driving off that ramp is the most off roading that range rover will ever do, sorry to derail but Rupe i saw on your arbtruck that your in the Tetbury area,ive got go to pick up fencing wire from a place called Uniwire, is it hard to find, i think its on an old airfield.
  25. hi mendip, im looking for something similar as well, type in miniveyor into ebay the 4.5m ones look ok, they can handle soil so should handle logs easily but i dont know if the ribs on the belt would be big enough
