  1. That type of tag is crap IMO for the reason you've just shown.
  2. Just what I was thinking. Maybe I'll stick a roofmount on the landy:lol:
  3. Big surprise, I was sure I had failed. I haven't had anything in the post yet either, the colledge phoned today.
  4. Weigh it before buying, they're heavy, like over 3 ton empty with tipper and kit.
  5. was this it? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/video-forum/9728-youtube-treats.html
  6. I was sure I had failed the woodland section, but I passed. A pleasant surprise:001_smile: Hope you guys got it too. Time for a beer now.
  7. if you're building it from scratch I'd have decals, lights, reflectors etc built on as cones and stuff are expensive and just go walkabout. It would be great advertising too, in fact just fill it with logs and leave it in the poshest streets wether you've worked there or not:001_smile:
  8. Same thing happened to me, I was with NFU for years and then went for a renewal on a higher turnover and with more EL requirement and they came back with £7K!!! It was about £1200 before that. Now have EL PL and PI with Bryant Kesek, and vehicles and Kit with NFU.
  9. I don't know what you're feeding it John but it seems to go right through it!
  10. It depends wethe it is listed as a business asset, if you claim depreciation on it then you maybe need to charge VAT. If it is your personal vehicle then you may be able to sell it privately.
  11. I'll be expecting to see you with the one top left at the next APF:lol:
  12. I don't know Dave...... I reckon there's just enough life left in your hair for one of those styles.
  13. I know just the thing for that job....... NAPALM 'Kin unbelieveable
  14. My fault for not checking out the ground first, it was a bog, I got a 4' stick and pushed it all the way into the ground, unfortunately that was after I got stuck:blushing:. The worst part was it was pointing the wrong way, so we couldn't use the winch untill we had turned it round which was a seroius ball ache. Still love those jobs, its hard to get stressed on jobs like that.
  15. One from the building site on friday, and some from this week. Loving this job, you cant beat burning thorn on a cold frosty day.
  16. Thats how I got my first yard, it was level and a decent size, and free! If you don't ask you don't get. One thing I have found with farmers is they all know eachother, even when they live some distance appart, so name-dropping the guy who has given you the land could help you get something better ( I find they're a bit suspicious of anyone who isn't a farmer).
  17. Knowing that at the end of the day my successes and failiures are mine and mine alone. I couldn't go back to working for someone else.
  18. I did a load a few years back there were 2 different types, I'd avoid girdling a stem with anything, I used some stainless screws.
  19. If that happened to me I'd write to my MP saying that I was a struggling rural business beng dogged by council burocracy etc. You might find that helps. It is a load of crap though isn't it, fair enough if you wanted a yard in a residential area, but in a field!!!! The planners are probably trying to justify their existance now that no one is building anything.
  20. I used to have the entec version of your machine, I didn't experience the problem you describe, it just sounds like that would be the besty place to start.
  21. Sounds electrical, faulty reset switch?
  22. Have a good day. Happy Birthday mate.
  23. I don't know Dean, if you turn it up high enough it might just speed her up a bit.
  24. TBH when you see how its made, i'd make one. Its just a claw on a set of pallet forks. I can take pics if you want.
