  1. Good news indeed, trying to find tickets asap
  2. I will keep you in mind if anything crops up. Good luck.
  3. That's a great price for an amazing, well-speced, built to last piece of kit. I've got a D200, it's been up 100ft trees, out bouncing around in the truck for two years now, got wet a few times and still keeps on going like a trojan. Bite his hand off people for £350 (is that including lens Sniffy?)
  4. Alright Ross. Hear you've set up on your own. How you finding it?
  5. I think the second hand route is a good one also, most people really look after their cameras and only sell them on when they are up-grading. I think you should be looking at Nikon or Canon. My preference is Nikon.
  6. Once you start heavily reducing birches you spoil what they are all about- graceful form. They never look the same again and brings on the onset of heavy rot pockets and all the hazards that brings with it. NOT GOOD As already pointed out try to convince to leave be or fell and re-plant. But its difficult to convince people to fell as they think you are just angling for more cash!! Might be a good idea to ask people to send a few pics of heavily reduced birches. That should quickly change their minds. Good luck
  7. Had the same with my 660, and like you Mark after some use it sorted itself out also.
  8. Starting to sell logs now Ross?
  9. It's a peddle back brake, like the old days, takes a bit of getting used to at first, but to be honest you cant get anywhere that quick it!
  10. Here's my road bike, don't get far in a hurry on this but it's most comfortable. Kustom Kruiser made by GT
  11. I've got a 441. Very good powerful saw and very smooth also. Mine seems to eat exhaust baffle though? Got a 660 and the 441 has much lower vibes, all in all I rate the 441 and would probably get another
  12. I know what you're saying. I'm always weary of it but I can't bring myself to take it off for work. I'd never remember to put it back on! Have you had problems or near misses in the past with rings then?
  13. It was lovely and the views were amazing...could see for miles!
  14. Thanks, it was a great day to be there. The music is by Nightmares on Wax and the track is called "Calling"
  15. Thanks for the advice. I'm just so used to the timber hitch Will try cow next time.
  16. Indeed you are right. Always try to drunkenly sing along to that. Always sounds appalling !
  17. Thanks Mark. Always good to get up some tall poles!! Tried to make it a bit educational as well for the folks who may stumble across it on yutube. Been wondering what the best music soundtrack to a tree surgery vid could be???
  18. Just a short vid of a tree we had to take down this week. Had to be lowered due to obstacles on the deck that couldn't been seen from up the top. Hope you enjoy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qbx0aQkGEz0]‪Tree surgeon / arborist climbs 100ft tree at Go-Ape Leeds Castle‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]
  19. Here's another Whitstable sunset
  20. Any one else noticed how Poplars don't seem to be doing too well at the moment? Been called out to look at 2 this week.
  21. Here go have a look at these, they were filmed on the Drift X170. Tough little camera
  22. Very true indeed, I have seen them on the continent and they hit them back hard. They always seem to come back!
  23. Hello all. Had a great day up at Cirencester on Friday, saw plenty of interesting things. Amongst which was the Greenmech Quad 160 chipper. I liked the look of this machine and was wondering if anyone on the site has any feedback on it?
