  9. Just trying to point out that we as a company were showed more of a duty of care than the others. Hey what do I know, I climb trees for a living, this is my first attempt at a disclaimer.
  10. Thought you may like this, my latest drift attempt, nice hollow tree shot at the end. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1xPZ3_s3ko]YouTube - Tree surgeon in Kent dismantles a sycamore www.abouttrees.co.uk[/ame]

  13. Another update I've drafted a "discalimer" What do reckon?? About...trees accepts no liability to subsequent damage to the property resulting in movement or change in soil condition as a result from the removal (felling) of this large oak as detailed in quote 4.0510 dated 21/5/2010. Moreover, during the course of this consultation Wayne Elwell has provided me with details and phone numbers of suitable qualified structural engineers that could provide written reports along with recommendations of how to approach the removal of the tree and suggested timescales. About...trees has strongly suggested that these consultants be contacted prior to felling the tree on both written quotations and over telephone conversations, and they have acted in Mr Iain Brett’s best interest and exercised an appropriate duty of care regarding this matter. Of the numerous quotations obtained to carry out these works about...trees were the only company to identify this potential issue and offer advice and guidance on the most appropriate course of action to undertake, and in signing below I accept that they have exercised due care and attention and done all they can to guide me in this instance. I accept full liability for potential future movement, change in soil conditions or subsidence caused by the removal (felling) of this tree Worth the paper its printed on???? Anything missing??? Cheers W
  14. Ahh does that mean if we mix the two together it thickens up??????? And we have our own thick Bio-oil Ignore me I'm just being pedantic!!!!
  15. Yeah the bio-oil featured earlier in this thread looks pretty good though.
  16. Exactly, I've used rapeseed on the smaller bars now for over 6mths and had no problems, I think that for the longer bars I might give some of the proper gear a go.
  17. Cheers Margaret, can't wait to receive my package in the post. Not here yet though!!
  18. I actually mean veggie oil from tescos but thanks for the link that seems like a really well priced bio-oil Would you ship that down to Kent??? Might take 10l off you.
  19. Hello all Thanks to Justin @ FR for the 660 on friday, great price and a great day out in Cirencester!! Question is, I've been running the veggie oil on the saws now for 6 months or so, no negative reports this far, but I wonder if it's advisable on the 36 inch bar that I got at the show. Do you boys who use veggie (rapeseed) oil on their bars use it on all lengths?? Just a wonderin'??? Cheers
  20. I like to think I get on well with most, but the odd ocassions I've lost my rag with people the vast majority of time it's been with workers at rubbish dumps!!!
