  3. Problem is Alex I DON'T know better!!!!! Websites with pc's on them just don't do it for me. I ask about Dell because I've been pointed in that direction and it seems easy!

  6. Been thinking for a while about getting one of these, currently I use a V.T. with a hitch climber, and a standard friction saver (although I have added a small pulley on to it). What are your thoughts out there?? Are they really so much better than a standard friction saver???? Worth the the money??? Thanks y'all

  13. I got mine from Thorne Enginneers in York. I found them VERY good to deal with. I think they've got a few classifieds on this site.
  14. Know what you mean Rupe, we did this for free. He's a good client and the experience was worth having. He supplied the swing and rope all we did was figure out the attachment points to the tree (as to not harm it) and fit it.

  16. Had a great job last week, installing a swing up a rather large oak. Before the swing was installed the crown had to be lifted to enable a good path for the swing to........... well..........swing!! Big tree, interesting job, nice climb, blue skies, GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!!!! Just thought you'd all appreciate a shot or two of a tree on a nice sunny day rather than grey and snow. Looks like we all got through a particullarly bad winter boys. Well done!!! Photos of the swing installation to come.
  17. The site will be left in a clean and tidy state after completion and all arisings will be removed. Stump-grindings will be left in-situ unless a prior agreement has been made. That's what mine says

    What mill

    Hello all I'm quite interested in buying a little mill, for use with a chainsaw. I know a few of you out there have them. Any recomendations, tips, one's to stay clear of etc etc??? Thanks
  23. Notoriously easy to underprice conifers.........we've all done it. Price it up, then price it up again. It's the old "measure twice, cut once" logic. Lots of arisings from conifer jobs!!!
