  1. I am currently looking into this... talking to a guy who has developed a system that is web-based and/or works with android and thus will work on a normal phone or the new pads that wiil soon be launched. The maps and functionality is optimized using googlemaps and their other applications, what u reckon?
  2. I would just like to thank you all for a great weekend at the ArbShow! It was great to put some faces to names.... Steve (whom I had the opportunity to personally thank for this great resource of knowledge) PeteB, Batiarb, Andy Collins, Linda, Noddy, Bruce, Toby, Rupe, Reg, Zenfordinner and a bunch more .... Learnt loads and caugt some valuable info and generally networking, gathered info on various subjects.... Had some proper sausages and a couple of ales! Managed to slip a note into the childrens trust and won the most expensive mug ever! Thought it was great to finally be able to donate towards something very important (thanks Steve, I no longer look like a tight git ;-) !!!!)
  3. I dont think its out yet... roumors says any year now...
  4. Never saw them leaves, just looked at bark and woodcore....

  7. Liriodendron it is u amateurs!
  8. I use the Meidl climbing boot. For climbing!!! The sole has been cut lower so its not to comfy for long walks and the design of the loops for the laces is good -doesent get caught or scratches the tree, but quite hard to tie for that snug fit. They dont have holes on the sides of the shoe so the heel feels quite loose in the shoe. I really like them for climbing but I wont buy another pair. Id go for the other meindl boot I think. The climber one is good in that the shoe is quite narrow and I have never managed to get my foot stuck in a crotch (as I have with previous boots) Good for footlocking too
  9. Afraid its already been done...in modules, ready trimmed and all... http://www.tonnersjo.se/page.php?page=fardig_hack:001_tt2:
  10. Why on earth would you wanna stick your creditcards into your scabbard:confused1: On the other hand....dont, and you wont have a problem with your saw falling out!!! creditcard clogged scabbard, never seen that before:001_rolleyes:
  11. A trick to keep your saw in your scabbard is to tape a magnet to the side of it, it needs to be strong enough to actually work through the plastic. I use a fridge magnet and it works a treat!
  12. Sure was! Nice to meet u Josh, had a right giggle on the train back!
  13. May the rain fall softly on your path....

  17. I found this rather interesting article. Well worth reading eapecially arter attending à seminar today about Trees and Stormwater management. We really need to broaden our horizon and truly appreciate and comunicate the technical benefits from trees. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7271725.stm

  21. Too right! We dont want to exclude anyone. This forum is for everyone and all opinions as long. As they follow the forum guidelines... I think ill stick to the lunge and visor thing!
  22. Im sorry! I have been working with autistic people for more then four years. I was only reffering to their rather characteristic bodylanguage in the same sence that male members of the gaycommunity quite often distinguish them selves posing a female bodylanguage. No further references...definatly not on inteligence or such, in fact some of the people I have met and worked with are probably more intelligent then u and me (together).
  23. You seem to be familiar with the codes... Anything you wanna tell us? Nothing to be ashamed of, its natural you know... Maybe its time for Arbtalk to branch out? Gay and Free Christian Masonrys, Arborists and Gardeners Society.... or Free (gay) Arborists, Gardeners, Groundies Or Talkers (F.A.G.G.O.T)
  24. Sure! and the visor thing! No one would suspect youre nothing but Autistic!!!
