  1. Mark, when choging down I revert to a chocked alpine butterfly, this makes for a much safer system. I can't really see the advantage of Drews retrievable system though over a chocked butterfly though?
  2. The price on firebox is £3500. They haven't got any and won't until August. They sent me to the manufacturers.
  3. There is a tiny hand ascender by fujurika(spelling). Going to find the link! Totally wrong spelling! http://www.kong.it/doc/KONG_FUTURA_SYSTEM.pdf
  4. The price I was quoted today was $2699. There are none in stock and they are expected to be in full production by August. They currently have no reverse gear!
  5. I use the ISC lock safe with a revolver in case I need a RADS system which I very rarely need tbh! I like a good hand hold so I reckon a croll would not be for me.
  6. They are known as night fighters out there!
  7. Very good but expensive, £100 for 1 1/2 Ltr if i remember rightly.
  8. No, my inspector doesn't look at my pantin or panteeeeen if your in America!
  9. You now think why didn't I do it years ago! I know I did and I know I won't go back!
  10. Good post Honeys sell it with .325 or 3/8. What's everybody's preference and why? I fancy 3/8 as all my saws are on it but what are the pros and cons?
  11. Used the GRCS to get portly people into the crown when rec climbing! A back up for the camera man is also a good idea. You could also use a speed line tensioning set up as long as you have a bollard to lock the system off while you re set the system.
  12. They were a very good price! You won't need to buy anymore!
  13. Are they the same as these? http://www.containerama.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=147[/url]
  14. These are what I use Jon, they are worth every penny! I also got the nylon elasticated covers to keep the rain out. Paul http://www.containerama.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=147
  15. They are crap! The handle will break and when you drop a bit of timber on it it will split. It will also suffer from UV degradation. Do yourself s favour and get some tyre rubber ones, they will last forever and cost about £12 if I remember correctly.
  16. Perhaps you should spend more time on the RW, that should get you out more! 8)
