  4. Not really, only on über long isolated branches.
  5. Nice! How did you install and how did you brake at the end?
  6. Sorry, fat fingers small phone!
  7. Same system as the RW, hand ascender with a revolver, clip the tail in.
  8. Morgan Thompson the inventor of the unicender made a couple of videos.
  9. The RW was designed to allow climbers to use a hitch on an SRT system. It does this very very well! It was not designed to be used with mechanical devices( lock and spider jack) but I think for me they are the way ahead! The RW as certainly paved the way in the UK for experienced climbers to try a system which until now very under utilised but I firmly believe SRT to be the future! Kevin may correct me on its original design use but I would say with the innovation of other climbers it's made the RW a huge hit!! The unicender for me makes a simple device for SRT with the only negative I have found is you have to send it off to have it re-serviced. I have a SJ and it works with the RW but I want to make the system as minimal as possible, by using a LJ you can loose the hitch climber. I am going to by a LJ just for this purpose. Cams are readily available and you can change them yourself unlike my unicender.
  10. You can descend nice and smooth with very little practice.
  11. Mine gets loler inspection every 6 months.
  12. Cool! Didn't Dan Osmond die there doing his crazy cliff jumping?
  13. Thats them, like I said will be on sale soon and with CE approval.
  14. It is CE approved and will be on sale by one of the site sponsors.
  15. No, look at the pic in this thread.
  16. Loving my unicender, yes I use it SRT on it's own because that's all you need! I have used it a couple of times ddrt when I've been climbing into crappy conifers and need to do change overs every 5 seconds! It self tends in ddrt but yo be honest it's much better SRT.
  17. Nice idea! Is the bolt fixed with a thread into the unicender?
  18. I can take one next week but to be honest it's just a unicender!
  19. Ask him about his shotgun from the UK!
  20. Hamma, speak to Mike Hill, he's used one.
  21. The rope spider has a maximum rope diameter of 13mm. I like the idea, watch the video it's interesting.
