  1. Ben, I've just felled 30+ Poplars, all brash chipped and cut to 2-3m lengths average 15/20m lengths 600mm dbh. The owner wants it for firewood but I am sure he would be tempted to sell as he's a poor farmer!
  2. As said cuts fine. I also have a 20" bar and that's awesome!
  3. Choice of those it would be the 395XP, cracking saw!
  4. Don't worry about toxins etc. if you have to use a CAT it will save their life! You priority is to save life and not to worry about infection etc! If you don't use it they will probably bleed to death. If you have ever seen a severed femoral artery you will no how much blood loss can occur. Let the hospital deal with the aftercare. If you don't use it they may bleed to death, if you do there is a very small chance they could loose a limb but they will live! A small set of hemostats are invaluable.
  5. Try re-setting the box. Full revs hold in the top and bottom buttons until red led flashes. Reduce the revs slightly and this time hold the middle and bottom button until led flashes. This should be the stress control fixed. I got a new box from forest/redwood.
  6. Tachyon for me. Tried PI and in comparison it's bouncy!
  7. Great post, don't know how I missed the original post!
  8. Love the books! Might eventually give them a go!
  9. Nice one! Great views as well!
  10. Just to scale the photo and to help separate the large rings.
  11. I think I am going to add a plate to mine. Thats the one. Thank you, had to get this one right a lot at stake! Yeah, and a few growing out of the kerf where I last had my GRCS.
  12. Thanks! Still got to get it out but can only do weekends as its a private nursery that won't let me in during the week!
  13. A dead Beech with a few targets! You can't see the shed or the play area though or my secret weapon! My 10 ton bottle jack, great bit of kit.
  14. Thanks! You have some big pieces to work on!
  15. You can use a long sling twisted in half with the casualties arms in each loop with the crossing point behind the back. join both loops with a krab and clip to the rescuer. I dont use a chest harness for my SRT work.
  16. Well done! Do a census and don't overshoot or they will go nocturnal!
