  1. Dependent on angles between the pulleys and therefore heights etc.
  2. Nice touch, like it!
  3. Geoff don't rule out the carbon Gekos, for what you will pay for a set of Ali Gekos a few quid more buys you a very comfy light weight spike!
  4. Redirects do spread the load.
  5. Found my pantin works well under my spikes.
  6. Make one!
  7. GRCS would come in handy to lift with no negative forces, choose the anchor points wisely!
  8. Maybe for a double whip tackle to add a MA for lifting although the GRCS lifts everything.
  9. Crane it if you can. No shock loading as everything floats away from you.
  10. What's Ddrt! SRT all the way!
  11. Nice idea but SRT minimises gear!
  12. Not very high or very clear due to the sun! Can see all the way to the sea.
  13. Like that idea!
  14. Thanks, can't wait!
  15. Are the sticky mounts strong enough?
  16. As the title says, getting mine this week and not sure how I will mount it on my Petzl. Does the outdoor kit come with suitable mounts?

Ruin your cash flow! Add multiple connection points for balancing etc.
  18. Ian, your base tie of looks good but gear intensive. My only concerns would be if your casualty is out in the crown and possibly inverted when you lower him you will not be able to right or even reach the casualty as you would have to tend the hitch and belay device.
  19. So am I!
  20. Mark, what's baggable? Do you mean easy with a throw bag or am I missing a dark trick?
  21. Case mate Tank for my iPhone! My wife put my trousers in the washing machine last week and it was 10 minutes before I realised! Stopped the washer, took phone out and opens the case. Phone screen was wet, quick wipe and rang the wife!
  22. Nice one!
  23. +1, bit small on my aye phone!
  24. I've recommended a pollard and see what it does.
