  1. Great job . . . . .no noisy chainsaws just the Zubat.
  2. I'm afraid I can't help mate. Have tried the newer technques and always resorted to the basic prussic.....But I'm not known for my patience:001_tongue: Using Silver Streak prussic cord and yale xtc fire which works for me.
  3. Coldplay - Viva La Vida [ame] [/ame]
  4. I have the free ad with yellow pages.....as they have pissed me off more than a couple of occasions. Will probrably go for a 'little' box this year. I always ask where clients got my number .......and most of them got it from my website. You must have a good search engine tho
  5. I crap myself on the little ones:scared1:
  6. Our rescue rope has an eye on both ends. Saves having two ropes lying around. I only climb on ropes with spliced eyes
  7. She's a very good photographer....lol
  8. Your jokin....Everyone on here thinks I charge too much
  9. The variety of work and the different problems they present, is the recipe which ensures I am always looking forward to the next job.
  10. These Trees have TPO's the spec is to Fell one stem and thin the other three by 30%. The stem to be 'felled' is the one with the orange mark (where we took it down too). It does not need much of a wind for this stem to give major concern to it's owner. Esspecially since another pop failed next door a couple of months ago (again included bark at it's base..see below). Although the TO was happy for it to come down to ground level (which would look better), I felt that it would be better to leave some of the stem to prevent decay at the base of the remaining tree. Forget reducing or thinning this stem, as the owner simply was not having it......Woulda got someone else to take it down. Would you have taken it all the way to the ground????
  11. Cool......will they end up as jam or something?
  12. IMO a 50% reduction will look better and leave healthier trees/hedge. That will grow quickly and earn me more money:sneaky2:
  13. Our tip has a min charge of £36. That takes the job down to £244
  14. It will look stupid. And surley it requires 'leaves' to assure it's survival.
  15. Yep, and a transit full of sh*t .
  16. Rossco, give me a bell if they do it in 'FB'..... Jonsie might give us discount for two.
  17. I wouldn;t reduce them by more more than 50%. Cost £280
  18. I would be very satisfied with that too. I have been asked to salvage something similar which has been left for about 10 years. I have it booked in for the spring, as the people are paying top dollar. They want the squirells reshaped...the whole works. Have told them it aint gonna happen after just one cut....but they are patient.
  19. Very nice....hedge cutting bores the sh*t out of me. I have just subbed out 3 days of it.
  20. You shouldn't have left them on show:sad:
  21. In ten years time I shall be 6 months short of sixty and will have had both hips replaced...twice. I hope to have dreads. and generally p155 everyone off.
  22. I in the past have let the local authority know that although I have submitted the application, I will no longer be carrying out the work. That way if someone makes a hash of 'your' spec.......It's not 'your name on it'
  23. You no longer have the technology:001_tongue:
  24. Only Kidin.... Here it is.....very basic steel frame with 8x4 marine ply. Platform and box mounted on cab for the gear, so that I can tip without having to unload. Platform has a FIAMMA box on it.
  25. I ain't posting mine after Skyshuck:scared1:
