  7. I have a little bit welded to the hook on the park pruner set. means i can loop my coiled rope over it (the hook) and place the coil directly over my anchor point. Normally use three sections on the park pruner set which gives me 15ft. Great in cluttered trees

  15. Here's my Hooded Synchro Soft Shell Jacket by mountain hardwear. Had it two years now and it's only starting to loose it's waterproof capabilities (wife put it on a hot wash....grrrr). This jacket has been in and out of many conifer hedges with not a tear in sight. This jacket has vents underarm and was specificaly designed for use with a harness. Easy access to pockets etc. When the weather is really dire....the hood will go over your climbing helmet. Not the cleanest jacket on the slopes, but hey....Do I look bothered.
  16. Sounds like a close one, thanks for posting. You could have saved me from the same fate.......What staps secure the grcs and Hobbs anyone? Presumably you can buy the straps separately from the drum?

  22. Ok here in Thanet.....But we are over your way today and tomorrow. I'll catch up and have a look at the harness.
  23. Morning Rossco......should I get a Treemotion.....that is the question.
  24. I;ve never thought of doing that.....Had a Beech to do and my whoopie wasn't long enough......Grrrrr. Ended up using the tree strop. I shall find a hench rachet strap and give that a go. I use a Buckingham Porty.....how is your porty attached to the rachet strap?
  25. Now have the large Buckingham Porta-wrap. Much better than the Flying Capstan I had before that.
