  1. ..............and I'm pretty pleased with this photo as I couldn't actually see the Robin when I took it. I just saw it fly in so held my phone out at full stretch incase I spooked her. She is now sitting with five chicks. I shall try and get another photo.
  2. Not great quality as it was taken on my phone camera. But pretty cool.
  3. Lovin the third photo Rossco.......nice job
  4. MMmmmmmm.........I asked Dan about these trees last night and he says he is 'booked in' to climb two big pops in Minster next Mon/Tues. He hasn't even seen the trees. For those of you who are not aware, Dan is my son. But I haven't had much work on recently, so he has been doing a lot of climbing for Rob.
  5. Seems to me that when the risk assessment ....the job stops there, if it requires a cherry picker/crane.
  6. I wouldn't use anything else. Very hard wearing, lot's of support ble bla bla...........In my opinion it should be far more expensive than the 'trendy' harnesses, if not only for the craftsmanship which must go into their making. Get one ......you will not regret it.
  7. Typical Jock.......lol Can you do me one as well.
  8. Good stuff mate.......That look like a bit of fun. Is there much hanging around waiting on the copter comming back....or are you busy rigging?

  12. I shall beat all of you to with an inch of your miserable lives with my 'monkey puzzle'.......ohhhhh yesssssss
  13. Acacia respond better than most to pollarding. Quite obviously the less that it taken off......the better for the tree. Why do you want to pollard against reduction?
  14. Very nice site....get the creator to link your email address as it does not do it, people cannot be 4rsed typing in email addresses
  15. I'd buy one and try it. Easily sell it again on ebucket.
  16. Defender and Ifor williams Tipping trailer.
  17. Sorry to steal the thread ...but I charge £275 a year for domain name and website if anyones interested. You can change photos etc as often as you like as long as you don't kick the backside out of it.
  18. Try and have photos of small jobs 'and' big ones so that people can see that they can call you no matter what the job. If you have good qualifications and insurance...emphisize it...it puts people's minds at rest. the small text at the bottom of the page is lost in the graphics....needs to stand out more. Here's a couple of sites that I've made http://www.trees247.co.uk and http://www.navex2009.co.uk
  19. Can you imagine if that had been a real pub. What with Master Blaster and the like. Woulda bin a laugh. And indeed it was. Cheers Steve great draw.
  20. I'm gonna win one tonight.....I'll let you know
