  3. Clients dont always go for the cheapest quote. You should be charging for the quality of work you provide. But yes it happens around here loads.
  4. Mountain Equipment (Mountain Gloves) there are some on ebay reduced to £20 buy it now. Good feel with rope and chainsaw. 100% waterproof and very warm and toastie ...even in extremes. DO NOT hot or even warm wash, as the inner fleece will shrink and it will loose its waterproof properties. it is only therefore good for a couple of months. And do not put them in a tumble dryer. But 20 quid well spent.
  5. I find it difficult to see how 'ascending' on a vt is any more effective than a basic prussic with a micro-pulley. I accept that this is a more efficient system once you have accessed the crown. I have just got my head around the use of the VT thanks to the forum and Tana Mahuta (ross) to whom it is second nature. I would find it difficult to ascend a long climb on a vt alone. The answer for me is to Access the tree on a basic prussic. Then install the vt....and go play
  6. I like trees, but I like the helmet on the prize draw better....lol

  24. Just had a long weekend up in Scotland visiting my parents. Took the Fly Rod up. Photos were on my camera....so pretty crap. The Loch just to the left of the car has wild brownies and is also stocked with rainbow trout.
