  1. You got away lightly. ratchet straps of truck drivers chain tensioners fastened round the stem and then cut as high as possible ( below the straps) can hold things together just enough to deck it and get away.

  11. I'm sitt'in here do'in paper work and writing invoices, so far i'm up to £2,500 sooooo impressed.
  12. NFU are prety good at insuring my vans cars and tractors, 6 vehicles on 3 policies. I have been a member for 16 years though. They also sort out claims prety quick.

  14. also the car had a flat battery and I left my mobile phone in the kitchen. but I was home in time to go to the wifes works christmas party ( in a care home ) no booze, but a big hug from the family was worth it.
  15. I did notice the RL Dean. Note the lack of observation hatch in my old roof. It was civilian 4x4 probably electric co or nat grid as the inside was grey. They worked well,over rough ground as the chassis was designed to twist to improve axle articulation.

  17. sad to say but the standard mid mount was only an 8 tonner. Power was applied by the liberal use of pulley blocks to multiply the force.

  19. Hey you guys I didn't cop out I was a little late, then got disorientated getting off the train and got lost. I arrived at noon. I wandered round the park like Jeffery Darmer for 1.5 hours looking for Lee in his trademark dayglo. Looking at the pics I actually walked past part of the group. By then rain and my thyroid infection got the better of me and I headed home. When I find the camera I'll post the pics to prove it.

  24. Its a shame they do not put as much effort into making Arb and tree felling like the CORGI GAS registration , illegal to do or use the service of companies unless trained and registered.
