  1. shhhh. its meant to be secret but the 346 is actually 50 cc not 46 as one might think.
  2. I would expect him to clear up while everyone watched. I was told by the people at Entec( timberwolf ) to watch what is going out the chipper as much as what is going in. That way you prevent clogging up probs. If the guy was watching what was comming out he could see it was going on the road. I suspect the training went in one ear and out the other.
  3. Thomas Hardy Dorsets, (arguably Englands )finest Poet and Author . Logs On The Hearth. A memory of a sister. The fire advances along the log Of the tree we felled, Which bloomed and bore striped apples by the peck Till its last hour of bearing knelled. The fork that first my hand would reach And then my foot In climbings upward inch by inch, lies now Sawn, sapless, darkening with soot. Where the bark chars is where, one year, It was pruned, and bled - Then overgrew the wound. But now, at last, Its growings all have stagnated. My fellow-climber rises dim From her chilly grave -Just as she was, her foot near mine on the bending limb, Laughing, her young brown hand awave. December 1915.
  4. Sorryto hear that. Unfortunately I have a new apprentice lined up, but who has made 17 blokes redundant? I can expect lots of calls then as they all trawl through the yellow pages cadging work.
  5. I saw a Veyron at Goodwood this year and they are small and not as loud as Lord Clarkson would have you think. A renault 5 turbo with a blown exhaust makes more noise and turns more heads.
  6. Bamboo shoots ? Chinese cuisine thats what you need, harvest for food.

  14. May I sudgest that a thread with alist of the first part of a Postcode with the date if possible are listed so at a glance we can see where thives are busy.
  15. Test ran the new gear today , no breakages and the groundie approves. we are on a winner.
  16. Reactive growth pattern due to external pressures on the stem. any other explanations welcome.
  17. How about a Braille version for the visually impaired?
  18. I think that often many problems are overcome by the self taught. The open mind to new and exciting methods is prevelent in those who are self taught. Farmed climbers tend to follow their mentors styles. ( college rant alert) and may limit themselves by doing only what they where shown.
  19. Got mine today Jonsie, ta.
  20. Have clearance from the wife so I'm good to go.
  21. IMO snakes and lizzards would best be presreved in glass tanks in schoolboys bedrooms not reconstructions of artificial landscapes. And who is weeping over the loss of , the dodo or dinosaurs. They are gone get over it.

  24. Not sure about the 13/75 but the 18/100 is a fine tool , I had one when they where known as the Entec Truckloader. Served me well.
  25. Probably Lucas-Girling so probably available off the shelf, somewhere. There was a place in near chichester that broke and repaired old bedfords. I had parts from them 10 years ago. I have a new early 330 petrol head gasket if any one needs one.
