  1. not having much luck with the search function..anyone know how I can bump up my website locally on a search engine?...keep it simple, I'm not much of a computer geek!...
  2. ditto...move the office!
  3. Not all Miners union members were radical communists; 'the Nottinghamshire miners refused to accept his diktat and in a ballot more than 70 per cent opposed a strike. Read more: Margaret Thatcher wasn't just fighting Argentina - but also an unpatriotic Chancellor, a weak Defence Minister and a devious and disloyal Foreign Secretary | Mail Online Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook sadly, after MT was deposed by her fellow Tories...they closed the Notts mines anyway...the final stab in the back...very sad.
  4. I'd get Richard to give it a tweak for you at Stantons Tel. You won't get that instant pick up like at MS200 mate, its engine is designed to meet EU regulation not improve on what we already had
  5. Nelson Mandela a terrorist?...outrageous accusation!...all he did was blow people up to further his political aims...he's no more of a terrorist than Martin McGuiness or Gerry Adams.....er...oh 'ang on!. 'One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist' as they say....
  6. Margaret Thatcher dead: Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten says hate mobs are 'loathsome' & calls for respect | Mail Online
  7. when I was a baby, we lived in Cologne, in West Germany (my dad was stationed out there). Winston Churchill died and our landlord invited all his British tenants down for a celebratory drink...turns out he was ex-Waffen SS!. I view the whole disrespect thing as a shining example of 'us and them' UK...some of you guys are 'them' to me...thats the way it is...and thats why Britain will never really ever be 'Great Britain' ever again....
  8. we had a few 'moments' today!...part two of this weeks gripping instalment is tommorow One of the EWT boys saw us running back in on the A127 and texted 'you look overloaded, drop some of that wood into my yard!'
  9. ...and thanks for bringing them over and trying them on today matey!...I had to tip the chips at the farm as Dan had made an unwanted deposit in the chipbox...Irn Bru has its side effects after all!
  10. Geoff was indeed there, but he was extremely drunk at the time
  11. same...for both!
  12. did u get my pm Dan?...one wheel is a perfect fit and the other is for 4 stud...but the tyre is good. Thanks mate..thats really helped me out!...I'll get your number from Geoff and give u a buzz...cheers fella!
  13. not suprised..but try it again in 3 years time...oh, wheres the husky gone?
  14. what an inspiring lunge...hurrah!
  15. it totally baffles me why the mainstream parties refuse to let the people have a referendum on the EU. I shall be voting UKIP, I've had enough of the 3 party circus-chimps
  16. can't imagine Mr Cameron ever being in a picture like this....nowadays, terrorists are given political asylum...back then it was a burst of 9mm..they thought twice about coming to our shores.
  17. eggsacarol...its a shame that the bad blood still runs in the old mining communities...I know a fireman who refused to strike...he is still a pariah amongst the firefighters today...he ended up leaving the job he loved, his workmates (some good mukha's of mine) refused to speak to him. Right or wrong he stood up for what he thought was right...and he paid dearly for it. As for MT being a war-monger for giving the Forces a payrise?....what a load of tosh!...we've been in a hell of a lot more wars since!. She's been out of politics for a long, long time, what we talking about is now history...we should be more worried about what the way our country is going now.....
  18. great post adbat!...My Dad was RAF when I was a kid...I remember MT getting in and giving the Forces a 35% payrise...we we're always very short of money for food, clothes etc...and this really helped. Something I never understood...if the mines were profitable and should never have been closed...why didn't Labour re-open them in their 10 years in office?...likewise, Polltax...its now called Council tax...why didn't they get rid of it?..maybe someone with a bit more knowledge can answer these questions?
  19. I hope your recovery is going well mate. Firstly, I have been in similar situations to that you described, working as a freelancer. As much as I commiserate with you situation, your own insurance should cover you for injuries at work. That said, I would be getting a good solicitor and sueing for ininsured losses. We have to be very careful who we work for, there are some awful companies out there who will gladly risk subbies to earn a days money
  20. its bizarre..I hope they let the Old lady have a peaceful funeral..it would be shameful in the eyes of the world to have a load these mindless people bringing shame on the UK for such a pointless cause.
  21. 'She couldn't wait to go and destroy an easy enemy with all the chest-puffing empire talk that politicians rely on.' hmmm, your not from a military family are you?...find a veteran of the Falklands war and have a chat about the 'easy enemy' Opinions are opinions, just be grateful you are still able to voice your dubious ones....
  22. The people who are 'partying' are the same sort of people who celebrate the deaths of members of the Royal Family. They're your opinions guys, distasteful perhaps, but it seems such people relish the decline of Britain...shut the door on the way out will you?. Now, lets get back to talking about tree's eh?
  23. really...ask these fella's what they thought of her...
  24. totally right Geoff. She was a true 'leader', whatever you think of her politics and deserves some respect because of it. If you think that Britain would be a better country if Michael Foote had been the PM instead...well...keep taking the tablets....
