  1. Matty. That is exactly what the video I posted was referring to. war s good for business and a clever business man backs both sides. Just take a look at proven history regarding the Rothschilds. Backing both Briton and France during the Napolionic Wars. The battle of Waterloo marked the end of the Napolionic wars and the day when Nathan Rothschild took charge of the London Stock Exchange, Bank of England, the British Empire and the UK Economy. Whilst all the time the Napolionic forces were also being funded by a different brother of the Rothchilds family. So many times conspiracy theories have been proven correct with facts from History. Now where is my tin foil hat! p.s. how did we get from pruning Oak trees to war crimes?
  2. That is one of the main things that came up when I was in the US. I was working in Connecticut for 2 months and the locals, who probably had never even been to NY kept bringing the “War against the Brits” up. I really had no idea what they were talking about. I suppose a country with such lack of history clings onto such things.
  3. 25 minutes into this, discusses the points you question Mick. AT&T supposedly putting the coms network into Hitlers bunkers. Standard Oil supplying the fuels for Hitlers war machine. Ford providing the engines for some of the vehicles within Hitlers regime. Whether you believe it or not it is pretty thought provoking.
  4. Proclimber? Wasn’t that Penny?
  5. https://www.haglofs.com/fi/en-fi/roc-spirit-jacket-men/p/604145-45L.html?
  6. Nørrono stuff is great but very expensive. The Hagloffs on I have is great. Top end mountain equipment. It is available in Normal colours. I will have it at the APF Mark as it is only single skin and packs down so small it is very handy.
  7. @treeseer I am not sure what you are referring to regarding Reg’s feet. Do you mean he should have been climbing barefoot?
  8. That website is well worth signing up for. I have had some proper bargains. Usually 50-60% discount.
  9. I have a Swazi but it is hi viz as you know. also got a Hagloffs waterproof shell. Completely bone dry in monsoon rain but it was about 380 quid. Bergen’s of Norway also make some similar style shells as do Arcteryx. check out www.sportpursuit.co.uk for heavy discounts and flash sales. I got the Hagloffs one for 170 quid.
  10. I will add it looks terrible.
  11. Humour is often lost on forums i can still cut the branch i am stood on. I just bend down and use a handsaw or chainsaw. Obviously not on the trunk side.
  12. I know mate I have the sort you mean. still a pain in the arse the get the correct cuts... not to mention the movement within the canopy whilst carrying such tool. on the occasional cut then yes... but if I had to reduce trees everyday with them I would be a shit climber and have given up years ago.
  13. How do you work that one out? Using pole tools in a tree is a royal pain in the arse. Difficult to get accurate pruning cuts. Cumbersome to carry around and move. Not to mention the added stress on upper back and shoulders. Not for me thanks. I will occasionally use a pole saw for deadwooding large trees but I find the saw useful but the rest of it is a ball ache. See the previous point.
  14. The disco isn’t that great to chip into, last I heard.
  15. I would take the metal sights of that pistol. That way it won't hurt as much when they get hold of it and shove it up your arse. All that pistol is gonna do is get you in trouble with the law after all the premeditation you have proclaimed you're gonna do here or with the thieves when they get hold of it.
  16. Beer is your friend!
  17. Have been training Muay Thai for quite a few years. I started training BJJ last year but haven't been for a while as I twisted my knee. there is a thread I started years ago in Muay Thai some where on this 'ere forum. Now I train MT as my 11 year old son started training when he was about 5. He fights, so as I take him training and its an incentive to train myself. We went to Thailand training earlier this year for three weeks. Trained everyday apart from Sunday's, somedays twice a day. Both kids loved it.
  18. They're are looking for fluffers mate...
  19. Are you after a new mill by any chance Joe? Haha, nice try!
  20. Personally I don't care what the primary contractor is earning. Other than I hope it is enough for them to ask me back as I am not cheap. I have worked for people though and then said never again. Various reason but usually because they are clueless, useless monkeys.
  21. Where are you exactly? I used to live in Lewisham and work for a lot of firms around Bexley, Dartford and Kent. i would recommend Kong Tree Care, based in Bexley.
  22. Yeah, the trick is not to test the limits of falling compared to survival rates.
  23. Just taken a picture of mine Mick.
  24. Cheers. He asked the question, I'll give him the answer.
  25. Does anyone have any ideas what this is? I removed a pine for a client about 3 weeks ago. He has started to split up the logs for firewood and sent me this picture. Can anyone help with the ident? Thanks.
