  1. Are there any MEWP rallying events you could enter Dean?
  2. I think they are mainly fitted to saws used by the emergency services, I think it may be because they will need to use them in tight spots where they may have difficulty holding the normal handle.
  3. Well of cause, but which is likely to be worse?, a trip or cutting yourself with a chainsaw? Also your premiums are based on the risk, well mine are, so if you are the only person using saws its cheaper. I don't find myself wishing he used a saw, I cut he chips, stacks, etc, works well for us. He's happy, I'm happy, no problem

    Celox

Ah! another product you like, the pattern grows!
  5. They will pay out no problem, but you will be held partly responsible and your premiums will go up.
  6. Must of been great to see it all disappear over a few days.
  7. Today we've been doing some winching, Todd my groundie said "does this mean we're axe men?"
  8. I would also be happy to put up a prize.
  9. That changes everything Dean!, I'll have to start again now!
  10. I think the thing is that most of us "cutters" don't like paper work. I know T/O's that are great to deal with, talk sense, pragmatic, will meet you on site and try to make my life easer, but others are just really hard work don't seem to want to help in any way. Why is there so much difference? If one can be helpful so could all! That tree has no future, it will BECOME dangerous if it isn't now, so why not just tell Dean to send in a notification and replace, what harm would that do? It would make Deans life easer, and he would be more inclined to consult the T/O in the future.
  11. Only if he traveled to and from jobs in his own car.
  12. How incredible rude!! How sad that often the first casualty of stress is ones sense of humor!!
  13. TPO fines are based on the value of the tree, that tree ain't worth "jack ......" Fell it and say "bill me"
  14. Because he put a gob in the front and then a back cut
  15. Yes, and recently "boa" bracing! there is a definite pattern here !
  16. There is some history to this that as a newish member you are unaware of.
  17. You compassion overwhelms me
  18. IMHO, this is not good advice, I like to have my body behind the saw and contral any kick back with the mechanical advantage this affords.
