  1. LOL!!! Same here, we already knew that we would not want to go down on a "munter":sneaky2:
  2. I would have climbed it.
  3. Watch it again. The unions fail which means the single one (which is attached to the others by the failed top) goes over with the stems from the failed unions.
  4. Surely he should have expected those unions to fail.
  5. That sir was slicker than a slick thing that has had advanced slickness training and taken slickness enhancing drugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Your prop is divine mate!!!
  7. Not sure all the good people who are enduring misery and sorrow would agree with you. If there is a God, his lack of action is unforgivable, IMO.
  8. DED, I would happily climb them all. They are Elm's.
  9. :congrats: If you could ask very one involved in a car accident if they had had a coffee that day, if they all said yes, does that mean coffee causes accidents????????
  10. Every time mate!!!:thumbup1:every time!!!!!!!
  11. That sounds like using a marital aid on the wife, instead of your knob mate!! I'll stick to my knob:001_smile:
  12. :thumbup:Spot on mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The VT is for gay lords, the prussik is for real men with mens elbows and shoulders:001_tt2:

Sounds to me like they are using the old "day rate con" I know I have one of the highest day rates in my area, but we are cheaper than others on many jobs, as we do the job faster.
  14. Interesting post, but to be honest its just common sense and any one who does not think like any way and needs to be told, is a bit thick and should not be working in our industry, IMO.
  15. Freak accident, glad no one was hurt. I was not there, so am not going to judge a situation I did not witness.
  16. My brother-in-law who lives in California was given "shade trees" to plant by their L/A. They want people to pant trees around their home to try and reduce the amount of energy used on A/C.

    Aaac. Sole traders?

Its the management thats AAA, other wise every time you change any staff you would need to be assessed again. Many years ago a local branch of one of the big utility arb firms was thinking of going AAA and asked me (did a fair bit of subbing too them) if I would do the climbing for their assessments.
  19. Shocking!! And very, very sad.

A real man, who got on instead of winging.
  21. I think we could now have a pretty good government in place, the Conservatives will be prepared to make the very hard decisions that are needed, but they will be tempered by the Liberals, meaning they won't be quite as harsh. I feel much more hopeful about the future than I have for a long time. I feel sure I will be worse off, as working family tax credits will have to be cut, but thats a small price to pay for a secure economic future for the country as a whole.
  22. :congrats: Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!
