  1. You can't transfer them, but this is not a transfer, its still the same tractor, its just had a new chassis, engine and all the other bits Its like Triggers brush, 4 new heads and 3 new handles, but its been a cracking brush and lasted very well
  2. Plus water logged ground.
  3. Landrovers have MOT, tractors don't, so probably not a problem.
  4. I was thinking, buy a scrap road registered tractor, fill in a change of chassis No and engine No on the log book, send to DVLA and jobs a goodun
  5. Why would that be a problem??? If you see so much value in the tree, surly you'd be happy to have more??? Incidentally the listing state that the standing part of the tree must retained.
  6. I can't see that happening, why would anyone ever want to pay you do tree work again???? They would all be expecting to be paid. I would never do a job for the wood, let alone pay for it!! If my old customers found out they would feel more than a little ripped off. As for this being compared to buying standing wood, that timber is generally of the required size and volumes that mean their is a ready resale market and the volumes make transport viable. Also when extracting bought forestry timber the unwanted brash is left on site, this guy wants the site cleared.
  7. Nice big tree, what did you pay for it?????
  8. If its fallen over, I'd call it dead less ambiguous under the new regs
  9. You really don't know???????
  10. What he's doing is like trying to sell hardcore thats still a building.
  11. As Rupe says, if he gets it processed by a professional firm, he could then sell the timber on ebay.
  12. They usually sell standing wood
  13. He have every right, but its not going to happen
  14. The throat on the Ducker is 11" x 7.5", so on brash its pretty fast and will take two 5.5" peaces side by side. And it has a blower, so you can blow chip into a trailer behind the mog with ease.
  15. Very true, we were doing emergency call outs yesterday, got to the last road and the 3 trees had all gone, they were nice sized "cut up and chuck in the trailer ones"
  16. The reason you may have "no work on" could be because others are going jobs "for the wood", its madness. This guy needs to be very careful, if some one injures themselves dealing with this tree, he could possibly find himself liable.
  17. Yes, but it says you need written consent from the LA, that seem crazy to me:confused1:
  18. Depends how big the area I'm conning is and how many cones I have
  19. I would normally agree with you, but on this subject Stevie is 100% correct. This is Steve's site, his idea, his hard work and his raging success!!! If you don't like the rules, take a hike, go start your own site, then you can do things however you like:001_smile: But if you want to use this site, Steve's site, then its Steve's rules, plain and simple. He has very good reasons for these rules, so lets all show a little respect and stick to them
