  1. Nice one mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Very good point Pete, it really makes me laugh when people get a WCL and think it some how makes them "legit" and "professional" The WCL just means you are agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations of the EA scheme, which as you say means keeping a paper trail of where the waste came from (signed by the customer) and where it was disposed of. If its just a piece of paper, that you bought, how on earth can that possibly make you more professional???????????
  3. Please remember its easy to make a donation to the site by simply going to the bottom of every page and clicking on the donate button Steve puts a great deal of time and money into the site and its nice to give a little back if we can, especially when the site has helped our business and made us made money
  4. You are only wielding to the stud, the heat is very localised, heat will be very quickly absorbed by the flywheel, so the blade will not get hot. It takes minuets to get one out by wielding a bar to the stud IME, I did it many times went I had an entec.
  5. but you really are a millionaire who just does tree work for a hobby
  6. Are you really a millionaire who just does tree work as a hobby???
  7. Its generally not leverage thats the problem, its getting purchase on the studs thats the problem, often the torque holes go round.
  8. In the past I have found wielding a piece of bar to them the fastest way to get them out.
  9. A torque wrench is no real help getting them off, its no different to any other socket wrench. Good for getting them to the correct tension when fitting though.
  10. My Mrs messaged him, I did not know until he replied, her message was:- you are joking that someone will pay you to take it away!!!! Have you ever run a business mate!!!!!! His reply was:- Its more an exercise to see what happens.
  11. I really like mine, not the swivel one, but I'll defiantly get another and probably the swivel next time
  12. This is correct surely and was post three, is WoodED really on all of your ignore lists
  13. Much better this year than last, my last two VAT quarters have be 50% up the previous 5.
  14. Very short notice, but does anyone fancy a day (possibly more) dragging brash, feeding chipper (depending on experience/training) and shifting logs. My regular man is suffering from a football injury, he's not in today and I'm not sure yet about the rest of the week. Please call me on 07957 376685 to discuss terms. Cheers Dave
  15. People need to be very careful if they are going to advice that a tree is "safe" especially if others are recommending removal. Any one offering such advice will obviously need PI insurance and they need to read the term of their insurance and take great care to work within the limits of that insurance.
  16. I guess you don't get it. Irony - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
