  1. Can you not pull the old one out and just replace it???
  2. No, but I've fixed my saws plenty of times with just the tools under my seat in the mog
  3. I'd try sticking a patch on with araldite, used it on an 020 tank once, lasted well.
  4. My dealer does not have masses of equipment, what he has you can't buy, thats 40+ years of experience. £100 for a tool sounds pretty cheap really, most of us will spend that on fuel each week.
  5. Good point, I would really miss warming my hands on the 020 exhaust.
  6. I wanted to see django yesterday, but did not have time as it was showing at 1pm and we needed to collect my girls after school, so watched Les Miserables, really enjoyed the first half, but found the second half a bit slow.
  7. Boiler is huge, but I burn mostly green timber so will be well under 150KW maximum it can achieve. I'm using inch and half galvanised steel (inside diameter), I'm going to run it through a large plastic pipe and inject expanding form into the void for insulation. Thinking of a vented system, possibly float oil of polystyrene on top of the heater tank to reduce oxygen intake into the water. Just going to lag an old steel oil tank for the accumulator, don't really want it near the house. Not to worried about heat loss, I'll just start drying my timber a bit and up my BTU out put
  8. This year I'm moving my boiler, I want it in my yard, to save moving timber and allow me to heat our swimming pool with it through the summer, when its not heating the house. This will involve adding about 60M of pipe, both ways, so 120M all together. My header tank is already two small, meaning I loose water when when heating from cold, the added water, due to extra pipping, will make things worse. I'm also thinking of adding an accumulator tank, adding even more volume. I'm thinking of adding a heat exchanger to separate the boiler and house systems, to fix the problem. Are there and pit falls to this? Can anyone recommend which are best and how big does it need to be? the boiler is 150KW running 16 rads and DMHW.
  9. With "hire" you are responsible for all the H&S, RA, MS, insurance, etc. With a "Contract lift", you show the crane Co the job and the provide every thing need for the lifts, cover all H&S and insurance, they are responsible if things go wrong.
  10. I had a 130 that was only 3050KG, but mine was an early one that was lengthened after build (for the national grid) it was still a 110 on the logbook. It had double strings.
  11. Does a fill of chain oil last as long as the battery, so fill up each battery change??
  12. The naked ladies in the upstairs windows are not scared away by the noisy petrol saw
  13. 6 pages and no one has mentioned the main advantage of this quiet saw?????????
  14. Sounds like you gave them just what they wanted and cut the tree in a way that damages it as little as possible, which IMO is the best any of us can achieve
  15. I should hope not!!!!! I think he should have paid her!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Totally agree If he goes to court and wins the right to compete ii triathlons (which I believe is his intension and the reason for this confession) I hope all other athletes refuse to compete with him and boycott any races he intends to compete in.
