  2. Do you mean the extra hand grip parts that come with the saw? If so these are a different size to the ones fitted, you can change them for the ones fitted if they suit your hand better.

  6. You have taken my post out of context, it was in response to a comment saying they probably looked smarter than others in uniform, which is IMO besides the point.

  9. Heard a vetren of the second world war on the radio today, he is no longer wearing a poppy as he feels the whole thing is be hijacked by the "Look at me" generation and I'm inclined to agree. For me it should be about the two great wars, where people did their duty because they were conscripted, not modern career solders, but thats just me.

    Surely not all tools are equal, some tools are much better than others.
  12. Axels look too far back for towing with a mog, would be much better with the axels nearer the centre of the trailer, IMO.

    Got to disagree with that, I tried a LJ and hated it, the SJ is far more like a hitch than the LJ, IMO.
  14. Yes but surely simple things like battery terminals should always be checked first.
  15. The difference is a Stihl will always have some value, even none runners sell or you keep it for spares, so they don't really get "thrown away".
  16. I saw that once, it was the ugliest mog I have ever seen, brought a tear to my eye, poor thing.
  17. Machines don't like being sat about unused IME, you could find that when you get it out when your main saw has let you down it won't run correctly.
  18. When I was 7 we had an NSU car, one day we had gone to my grandma's house with my mum. When we came out of my gran's the NSU would not start, I lifted the passenger seat and hit the battery terminals with a spanner, bingo it started
