You could buy a 540 or 201, run if for a year, sell that on ebay and I bet you will not have lost much over £169, plus you will have had a much better tool to use.

A roll will not provide chains for my 540t, 550, 461, 66 and 88. I just buy 4 for the 540, 2 for the 550, 2 for 461, 1 for the 66 and 1 for the 88, or what ever combination of 10 chains keeps my stock levels where I need them

I was going to start making my own chains, but my dealer suggested I get my chains in mixed 10's and he would do me 40% discount. Works for me.

My father and brother are both joiners, I earn more than them. I have two friends one is fencing contractor and the other is paving and civil's contractor, they have both found the recession very difficult.

I always ask if they just want us to remove to ground level and offer grinding as an option, so they know its not included. I very rarely do written quotes, so I very clear while speaking to them whats included.

Its a "notification" not an "application", if you do invoice you need to get it worded correctly.

That statement makes very little sense $1700 V $4K is not "competitive", just sounds like your too cheap or their too dear. If you could do 4 $1700 jobs in a day with a crane, would that not make a great deal of sense ???

I don't think that can have been a "Magik", the magic defiantly has auto return.

I have the PTO version, its a fantastic splitter, very fast, very safe, best splitter I've used. I can't comment on how well they work with there own engine, but cannot see any reason why it would be very good.
