  1. Plenty (myself included) have said they consider the 540 they bought to be a complete "lemon" and I would advise all to steer well clear
  2. Every ones different, you have often complained that the brake handle on the 200's were weak and you kept breaking them, I never had this problem, but my 540 simply fell to pieces
  3. Yes your home is assessed but that is because the system is not metered but based on the heating requirements of your home, you may be asked to improve insulation, but not always.
  4. Yes if you have real flue you start by thinking you are going to die, soon you are hoping you are going to die!!! I doctor once told me there is a easy test for flue, simply enter the sick persons bed room after speaking to them discreetly drop a £20 note within their sight from the bed. Later enter the room again, in the £20 note has gone, they do not have the flue.
  5. I found washing my climbing rope had a very similar effect.
  6. So why choose to donate??????? :confused1:Plenty didn't. Why, oh why would you donate and then take this attitude????????????
  7. These have to be some of the most despicable posts I read on here Firstly John did not "beg", he offered some stuff for sale, with a back story stating the reason for the sale. You cannot say he's going to make £15K, what did the timber cost him?? how long did it take to mill??, what are his overheads?? I thought you ran your own business? Surely you know that turnover means nothing. As for him lacking honour!!, I think you are the one who lacks honour, you CHOSE to give, no one pressured you, but now your bitching about it? And even if you feel you regret donating (of your own free will) why make these posts? Simple decide not to give in future. IMO your posts have painted you in a very poor light indeed
  8. I have an Igland 6 toner I'd be interested in selling, the clutch needs adjusting I think as the cable is hard to pull out.
  9. Have there been issues with metering on the solar RHI?? Or have I miss read something???
  10. Yep, been there, it turns to porridge and then soup:thumbdown:
  11. How old are you????? I'm pretty sure my daughters of 11 and 12 would make more mature decisions than that
  12. Only read the first page when I posted the above. Having read about all the other stuff he's recked it strikes me that you need to setup some safer systems of work or let this guy go, making him pay is not the answer, IMO.
  13. Even if it legal, its certainly not very fair Suck it up and move on, you would probable make your money back faster by breading good will and a sense of team work by covering the cost cost, rather than creating resentment and a "them and us" mentality. IMO.
  14. My understanding was that brash is considered virgin wood, unless the foliage content is greater than the wood content.

    Disgusting!

Do you not charge for the work you do??? Why would you tip for free if you do??? Not having ago, just interested
  16. What year is your Disco? Ours had a steering rack a good few years ago, I think it cost about £750, but my memory is not the best.
  17. Pretty sure some if not all 1250's are 10t chassis, so could be worth a look.
