  1. Oh yes!!, you can't beat that sound!!!
  2. Of cause when its a big stem your dicing down and would like the discs to halve so the groundys can move them, they will always stay solid!!
  3. Yep!!! only those who have used a Schliesing know just how good they are
  4. Happens all year, can go with a fair old bang sometimes.
  5. Are you changing the shockers Ian? Yours look pretty old, I really need to change mine.
  6. They are generally changed when they snap, but maybe they work harden or go soft??? I really don't know.
  7. But those springs are copies?? What is actually wrong with the old ones??
  8. Really??? I know the seeds are poisonous, but did not know the wood was???
  9. So you have the ring at the harness end of the lanyard???
  10. I have a small crab on both ends of my saw lanyard (makes switching saws easy) I simply hook the crab onto my carry tool.
  11. I can't stand having a ring, I always get my dealer to cut them off when I collect a new one. Do you not find that when you throw the saw up, catch the lanyard and the allow the saw to gently slide down, that the ring hurts your hand??? I find the the thicker the webbing, the more it folds and tends not to blow in the wind.
  12. The difference between a 1600 and 90 is HUGE What are you hoping to use it for? Running a chipper?? Front or rear?? Timber trailer?? Winch?? Hiab?? 1200's are OK, but are only 7.5 tonne, 1600's are all 10.5 tonne or more. There are some 1250's that are 10 tonne. 90's are really just a beefed up pickup, I thinks its actually a Sprinter engine. A 900 would be much better bet, IMO. Are you wanting Ag spec? Rear linkage?? front linkage?? Front PTO?? Rear PTO?? Hydraulics?? Working gears?? Crawler gears?? You really need to decide exactly what you want and then find that exact machine, if your not careful you could end up with a very expensive white elephant, IMO.
  13. You are wasted on here Kevin, that is worthy of Bills and Boon!!!and just about as likely. By your logic how do any of us survive??
  14. On what grounds do you say that??? Given that councils go for the cheapest price, they are going to get people who cut corners, IMO and IME.
  15. Men from the boys John, men from the boys:thumbup1:
  16. You have grown on me Kevin, I kind of like you these days I pretty sure that has just sent a shiver down your spine, sorry.
  17. "Looking after the pennies" is OK, but you have to "speculate to accumulate", if I had simply looked after the pennies I would still be running a transit and tow behind.
  18. Please tell me this post is tongue in cheek
  19. Yes, it is annoying when people see you working from 100's of yards away and still feel the need to come through, when they could easily cross over, but I guess they are within the rights.
