  1. Bringing this one back up. Ive seen the tormek stuff mentioned. But id really want to do blades in pairs. Ive looked into the surface grinders but still not clear regarding jigs etc. Id prefer to hollow grind if poss. Any suggestions to machine and set up greatly appreciated. Especially if any known machines up for sale especially bernhard chippermaster (used) cheers
  2. What is that then ?
  3. That does seem pretty bad!!!
  4. Baltimore really that bad?? Ive been to tci when it was in hartford. Thought it was a great show. As said not like the apf but definately worth visiting. Hartford was also a good laugh around the bars
  5. If your looking. Ive got a gx84 for sale. In somerset. Tw190 fits and tows perfectly. Thars what ive used it for. Only selling as ive just bought a gh1054
  6. Its a question you will never get the answer you want. Same as the Stihl/husky question or which chipper is best. If your off road get a 4x4 tipper , if your doing lots of bigger jobs get a hgv tipper if 3.5 ton weight is what you need youve got the choice of transit , iveco etc. But thats where your going to get a huge difference of opinion. I stick with transits in that category just because we have learnt pretty much most of the mechanics of them over the years . id say if your looking for your first van. Get something you think will do the job. If your not happy with it look for whatever fills its shortfalls
  7. if your bored....you can nip round our yard and do a bit of servicing
  8. Transit diffs arnt as bad as you may have heard. Think of the number of these vans in use. It stands to reason there will be more stories of this an that going wrong. Transits have always done us ok. Jap stuff.....probably reliable. I always think the cab looks flimsy. Ive seen thicker fag papers than the doors on those things
  9. Frustrating.

  11. Cheers. Looks a good option
  12. Being lazy here. But where do you get that , price etc. Does it hold up well to ground friction soil and stone ?
  13. No worries. Pita about your trailer.
  14. We bought the 5000 series. Orion heating i think it was . the. Chap there was very helpful. They supplied us with a rope that has proved very durable. It has had a lot of use hauling trees , timber , brash up railway banks (a lot of ground contact at the crest of the bank) and has stood up very well for the abuse it has had. I'd also seriously consider the box they supply. Its great for storage , transport etc
  15. Tidy!!!!
  16. Still got the tracked one jon. Sold the wheeled one. You know how it is.....on the right job it just blitzes it Its still for sale if somone came up and wanted it. But just bother to advertise it as we do use occasionally
  17. Reminds me of those old frankenstein films. The villagers scouring the hillsides with lighted torches
  18. I xont doubt it at all. After all. If your that way inclined your going to gather any info you can
  19. We have had the road tow and tracked version. All i can say is if weight towing etc adds up for you. You shouldnt regret it. Very capable machines.
  20. Just dont post what alarm you settle to choose Its a sickening thing reading about these thefts. I know how it feels myself. But i find it quite frightening when some people comment about how they really need to tighten up on their own ssecurity. It seems they are pointing out to whoever reads these post that security could be a little lax

  22. Know that feeling all to well......problem is i doubt they even realise it

  24. Thats an idea. I dont own a caravan. So id never have thought if it. Ill speak to the people sellling cameras and sound them out on it. Cheers
  25. Ive been having a hunt for some wireless cameras. They need to be able to be set in remote locations. So no hard wired wifi. Either sim or dongle connectivity to enable view through phone , laptop etc. And either text or email alerts . hopefully someone might be able to shed some light. Are they available or not. I can find g3 and g4 wifi. But not total stand alone units Any info greatly appreciated
