  2. that's how I learnt as well my pets hates -standing around looking dopey instead of asking what to do and saying "yes ok " to some simple instuctions , then standing around looking dopey because they didn't listen properly

    Driver CPC

I thin I said a transit which is a 3500kg vehicle , when its loaded your at your weight. so if you want to get your chipper home.........well wouldn't that mean you are over a 3500kg train weight ??

    Driver CPC

from what ive just learnt , its the gross train weight that needs to be 3500kg and below , so you can pull a small chipper on a transit and carry some tools . but that would be it , if your removing chip/timber from site and pushing the vehicle to its weight limit it would then become more than 3500kg in train weight needing cpc
  7. or take it off , we do every day for chippers to go into a smaller doorway in our unit

    climbing kit

fabric items such as ropes , harness etc are basically around 10 yrs unless specified by manufacturer . hardwear is not time limited as long as iit is in good safe and useable condition . be aware of how and where you store the ropes etc as any comtamination i.e oil , chemicals etc will affect any loler inspection regardless of age and physical condition
  15. yea......I get the distinct feeling its a Renault.....could be wrong though !! lol

  24. DN22 I don't think its a case of being blinkered at all..........more a case of moral fibre and just plain honesty. just because it goes on that makes it correct? ask almost any guy who has had their kit nicked , do they then think its ok to help there selves to other peoples kit? but according to you its goes on so its fine.
  25. what are these priced like compared to the 150's ?
