  1. What course are you on and what part of the syllabus are you finding hard? Learning the Latin names. There's a small black book, I think its called plant names simplified. The names are broken down so they are easier to pronounce and then remember. Google mnemonics, its ways of remembering words. Ive got a list of different books covering different subjects that I can give you which could help but you will have to give me a couple of days as Ive just come out of hospital and don't feel to good at all.
  2. If I was you id try and get some ground work and then next September go to a better collage. Your young and will get free education for 1/2 more years, don't wast the opportunity! Whats been going on at your collage with the lectures? Good luck,

  4. Is there a dwelling on the small holding? if there is could you say that they own the wood? Does your chip go there as well.

I think the public should be made aware or the costs of running a reputable tree business and legislation that we should adhere to, loler etc and the fact that these costs are factored in to quotes and the fact that door knockers mostly don't have these, probably use stolen equipment and then dump the brash down some lane which is then cleared costing the local tax payer and then don't pay tax or nat insurance. Hence why there cheeper. Hope this makes sence, just come out of hospital and feel ill!

    Log theft.

    Sorry to here that Geoff, it's terrible. Esp as some one of that age has taken the time to cut and split the logs. These people need there hands cut off, if I caught them id do it with the silky:sneaky2:.
  20. Stihl a cart for the petroll disc cutters. I know the grinder attachmant you meen, used it on a husky tho never come across one to buy!
  21. When I was in hunt kennels id get covered in the stuff, especially when they were fed on horse flesh and it was runny. They would run through it and then when you went in the lodge they would jump up on you and you'd get covered! If I go to a job and the clients are in Ill ask them to move it and if there not in ill go around with a shovel and put it on there patio!
  22. That pub was awfull!! don't know what its like now tho! The worplesdon place was much better, on the last day of the christmas term i went swimming in there lake!
  23. The 10 week course at Merrist Wood has gone down to being taught in 9 weeks I think!
  24. I wonder if he was one of these I'll fell the tree for free luv coz I wont pay for logs for my stove and have no insurance guys!!
