  1. Get a firm in, if there's a crash I think the liability is with them and I also think that you need to be certified to put out road sinage esp stopping a whole lane.

    Log theft.

    Sorry to here that Geoff, it's terrible. Esp as some one of that age has taken the time to cut and split the logs. These people need there hands cut off, if I caught them id do it with the silky:sneaky2:.
  11. Stihl a cart for the petroll disc cutters. I know the grinder attachmant you meen, used it on a husky tho never come across one to buy!
  12. When I was in hunt kennels id get covered in the stuff, especially when they were fed on horse flesh and it was runny. They would run through it and then when you went in the lodge they would jump up on you and you'd get covered! If I go to a job and the clients are in Ill ask them to move it and if there not in ill go around with a shovel and put it on there patio!
  13. That pub was awfull!! don't know what its like now tho! The worplesdon place was much better, on the last day of the christmas term i went swimming in there lake!
  14. The 10 week course at Merrist Wood has gone down to being taught in 9 weeks I think!

  17. I normally get Lister Wilder to do mine but the last set I had done were sharpened to the wrong angle, which led to poor chipping and a snapped blade. Oh and they charge £20+vat a set! Wont be using them again!!

  19. Marc, i'm getting 25m of Armor prus from NZ just after christmas, you can have some of that if you want!
  20. I've seen a container jacked up with four highlift jacks and then a flat bed lorry reversed underneath, also seen it done with a porter cabin. It is possible to do it this way but bloody dangerous!

  22. It mates you wonder how the POW's got rid of all the soil when they dug escape tunnels!
  23. Id quote for all the tree work first and get it cleared and then the landscaping part of the job will be more straight forward to quote for andwork out quantaties of soil to be removed. If you ever hire a grab lorry in allways have a peek in the tipper to make sure its empty. Had a guy turn up to me once with a quater of a load spread over the bottom, wasn't expecting me to look. He got sent on his way!
  24. I'm not really that in pressed with mine! The soles have worn faster than any other boot ive had and haven't lasted that long.
