  1. Sorry i cant help you, but i am thinking of going to college to do a twelve week tree surgery course, where did you go and did the college not help you find work?
  2. All the responses have been great the only problem is have to wait until next september! The course i have applied for is at Plumpton College and is a Level 2 Diploma.
  3. Hi I bet you get this question all the time, I am 33 keep myself pretty fit and looking at a career change, I did a horticultural apprenticeship for 3 years before going to uni and one thing led to another and have ended up in an office unhappily for the last 7 years. Have always wanted to get back to outdoor work and feel that tree surgery is a career I would like to follow. I wanted advice on realistic employment opportunities if I undertake one of the intensive tree surgery courses, assuming I pass the certificates. I intend to start the course next September, any advice tips etc... Thanks Simon

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
