  1. So, is the 717A "taller" than the 717 ?
  2. Rainy day here so removed oil tank by removing 2 or 4 fixing screws depending on which model you have, after draining oil out of course. Clean gauze and tank, reasemble & job done. Sorted.
  3. I'd deffo have one but not at that price!
  4. If you are cutting the logs for your own consumption then its not industrial. If you are selling them I reckon it is.
  5. The cult following aren't the people who buy NEW Land Rovers unfortunatley. This is th e realm of the fleet buyer and there aren't many of them any more, the army included. The world has moved on, shame really.
  6. Wow, imagine if you could sell dog crap
  7. I've only ever used mineral chainsaw oil in mine. Is the gauze filter really necessary, if it blocks regularly and is a PITA to get at?
  8. Looks like the next rainy day is sorted then
  9. I have a couple of pole saws with that problem! Where is the gauze oil filter, is at the bottom of the oil tank?
  10. All you ever need to know about Petrol storage and carriage:- Chemicals: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  11. It's worth buying the Stihl grease despite the cost. The bigger tube is more cost effective. I have used other types of grease and they just dont seem to "stick" as well.
  12. Felcos are excellent but pricey. Lost one pair so thought I could warrant buying a metal detector to find them. Never found them or anything else for that matter, so still ended up buying a new pair! Now they are returned to the holster everytime.
  13. Could it be hogweed?
  14. When my pump went I scoured the forums and found some dimensions to cut a hole in the floor to get at it. In the end I chickened out and got the garage to drop the tank. There wasn't much gap between the floor and the tank to get it wrong. If you put a blanking plate over the hole afterwards it would make it easier to get at it next time!

Was going to have a go but you have to Register, thats a bit risky.
  16. Road, and presumably now rail planners as well, have always routed through woodland, heathland, SSSIs etc as its cheaper and gets less hassle from the farming lobby.
  17. How can they find money for this nonsense ?? Sort out the existing trains first.
  18. See bottom of the page- Seasonal Wild Flowers - Bilberry Case solved
  19. Looks like bilberry, may have black edible berries on it, but probably long gone by now.
  20. Just had my quote in from NFU for my Landy. It had gone up £100. Tried Direct Line and got it back down to what NFU quoted last year- £185. BTW does anybody ever mention that they have fitted a winch?
  21. 235/85/16 BFGs, but not on standard rims.
  22. Full marks for ingenuity anyway.
  23. I have a Q plate tractor insured with NFU.
  24. There isn't many to choose from but try these Training Providers at Gunnislake. I've done most of my training with them- lynhertraining.co.uk
