sorry could not find it on your site
  6. thats really tempting:001_tongue:
  7. if he had been a southerner i bet the gamekeeper would have lent him a cup
  8. our new landrover winch has the new dyneema tennex rope instead of wire rope and it,s much nicer and safer to handle though need to keep it covered for UV degrigation
  9. just thought you may of thought it was all spliced as putting a sling through a bit of rope and clipping 2 revolvers is not major work unlike splicing which i have had a few people think the rope was spliced
  10. suit you sir
  11. going to work on a monday morning:001_tongue:
  12. that would be brill although i do think the majority should be aimed at using "normall" stuff and then look at why a hobbs grcs ect would be worth the investment but am easy with what folk attending want out of the day
  13. thought you may have told everyone i am 50 so should be gratefull for something
  14. totaly agree just taken 2 new lads on that fit that mark for me or is that just i am getting old
  15. nice arm bands
  16. the honey set up is not what you think i don,t think basically a bit of rope with the core removed and a 120cm dyneema sling in place of the core and the rope is there to protect the sling
  17. silky hyunchi takes some beating
  18. use the interest gained from your other account to pay the charges and you will still have enough interest left to keep your bed propped up
  19. ooohhh thats not nice glad it,s not mine
  20. thats ok me and my GRCS will be available on the day we have yet to decide upon
  21. think that says it all buy a silky for them small handing off jobs
  22. i keep talking to folk about rigging techniques ect and wondered whether it was worth having a get together to look at kit and discuss matched systems and suitability of differing ropes and then discuss various differing ways of rigging and pro,s and cons maybe speedlining and timber weights and forces and even have a few goes just a thought and i am sure there is much more to cover
  23. one way to get a boot full of logs
  24. so come on how much to fit me one
  25. not really sure why you think it,s badly demonstrated for me the reason to cut 90% is that the weight of the log will slightly hold the chain and is less likely to fall out and the chain is further away so less chance to catch himself on it now in no way am i condoning not using the chainbrake but as mentioned if the log slightly traps the chain then thats a plus point to meas when top logs released pressure would be less
