  3. reduce the vibration on the tool new bg86 has full vib mounts that according to statistics can be used 24hrs per day without risk of HAVS the old blower bg85 was really bad on vibration stihl,s new range of hedge trimmers are really low as well compared to the others the problem with vib gloves is they ate like trying to hold something with layers of bubble wrap wrapped around your hands so you have to grip tighter so the beniffits are less replace kit as they are always striving to improve stuff Keep your hands warm poss buy heated handled saws keep stuff sharp correct chain tension saws sharpened properly with cutters even length replace sprockets maintain your kit
  4. thats what we use but we sewed some pannels and screwed em to the barrier bits and they are pretty good and were better when we weighted the bottoms we use the barriers that have cones and tops that the barrier slips into and panels are about 6ft which is what we need for a road tow vermeer hope that makes sense

  7. all within first year PTO turntable chippers are renowned for gearbox,s we had a kwick chip before and that had more than it,s fair share

  12. sadly ours started of as a friday afternoon machine had 3 gearboxes couple of uj and allsorts of other issues but does not seem too bad at the moment

  14. yeh ours does that too then have your uj,s moved as well or has the roller shafts been moved a bit we moved ours back left a bit and it was slightly better but usually find putting a bigger bit in clears it hows your gearboxes lasting
