  2. we use a old 16mm double esterlon which is stronger and easier to use that 24mm polyprop 7.5ton mbs but would now not use it for lowering as it does get abuse use a capstan for attaching to tractor for more strength and easier and no crap knots to undo if we are pulling a tree with tractor usually the cosequences outway the cost of a rope

    our standard stock rope is blaze i have been on tachyon to try it for 11 months now and really liked it but have yet to decide if i am going back to blaze the only downside for me is if you used mechanical stuff with it been 11.5 does not fit or run as well as blaze has a softer fluffier feel than blaze:001_rolleyes:

    just to add a bit of scale my mate is in bottom left of pic
  17. kits will always be different mine has changes all the time trying new bits or taking em out buying new bits and looking for something better and my kit varies depending on what sort of climb it is
  18. on our TW250 the throttle is right next to the hopper and we do turn it down as it,s so handy rather than having to walk down the side of the chipper
  19. well after all that work i need a rest where,s is my cup holder at least the big boss won,t fit in my chair
  20. could not believe someone had a cup of tea up the tree then i realised it was me:blushing: and did not think i climbed that much but seem to be up there on too many photo,s. Must be photogenic

  22. good idea i suggested exactly that to timberwolf several years ago when you get a system sorted i am up for it i think problem is having electronic throttle
