you can have the climber i had today even turned up with blunt saws had to take over climbing at 11 o clock then he just messed about on the ground leaving the others to work hard i even had my flask up the tree they were that slow sad thing is now got to go back to finish tree tomorrow but having said all that you may not want him

you got it sir though splices often get stuck as well if it comes easy though depend on splice and shrink tubing also if you cinch it up tight it will not retrieve the more slack the easier it retrieves

very easy onto soft ground rope goes through bottom shackle before going round pulley or if wanting to lower my fav is a climbers chalk bag with throwline in and when either pruned one side or at the end clip it to rope guide and thow the bag out over canopy of tree hope that makes sense
