  3. big difference in production snedding to snedding by chipper was just making the point that they need to be revved for a while and pretty constant to make heat they will not warm up on tickover or when you cut a couple of branches

offices, office staff, woodland trees someone to clear up afterwards and chip up ect enough kit for everyone on course 4X4 for access p.s was not particularly using you as an example it was aimed as a general thing and tbh been an instructor or assessor takes a fair bit of time and money keeping current and going on updates ect courses are not as lucrative as some folk believe.
  5. if you want it to self tend from the floor and be a constant and reliable buy a SPIDERJACK problemo solved
  6. So you do do risk assessments WELL DONE:001_smile:

look at the price of a course and then look at what you would charge for same amount of days work probably not a lot in it though a lot of folk tell me they charge more
  8. very good would defiantly recommend them
  9. if paying 4 or £500 for a saw why not spend another £30 and get heated handles all mine have it makes sense in winter when it,s cold and supposably helps with HAVS tbh imo all employers should supply heated handles to help save claims as if not employees could claim that there were other things the employer could have done If you dont wear gloves they do get too hot and as said when wet your hands stay warm and it does dry your gloves they only really work when ringing up if snedding bits they probably wont even get warm p.s beware on 372 ect where there is 2 heat settings on the switch 1 is for a heated carb and if you leave it on it will kill your saw we disconnected all ours
  10. inspira are you off to AA show

  13. owned or my employer has owned schiesling jensen kwick chip tw entec and have demoed all the above and greenmech but never owned a greenmech jensen and 2 tw at mo
  14. new plug fresh petrol then see if sparks then go down fuel and carb if it does run get it tuned often bigger saws don,t get used as much and the fuel does go off when mixed with 2 stroke or if you dont want to spend money on it spend a lot of money and buy a new one
  15. sorry i voted timberwolfs down to value for money and parts availability and dealer location tbh I have had some very long downtime with jensens the only greenmechs i have really used have all been hire machines so not the best kept chippers out there and have used old ones
