    Fishfight

Lee, I heard this elsewhere and it disgusted me that they are forced to chuck it back or be fined for overfishing or catching the wrong stuff. What a stupid waste!
  2. It is the self sealing leak between the screen and bulkhead. Leave it a few years for the moss to grow and it'll be reet! Failing that wear a welly and take the seal of the door bottom to let the wet out as Frank said.

Are you crazy?! Must be 78.5 at least!
  4. Used by the american emergency services to get through shingle roofs. Caption "The new Marines 2000 rounds per minute buzz saw, whatever you use - it buzzes!"

Davey b, please do not let my comment go and hurt you or indeed go to waste. I do not know what chainsaw that you have but my advice was sound in that all new Stihl saws come with a fairly comprehensive guide on what to do. Please read it! As a small holder I can appreciate your need to do things yourself, but as Andy has said, saws are bloody dangerous, please be careful. Welcome to the forum and I credit you with the good sense to ask a question even if, to many, it may be daft. I'd rather ask and look stupid, than don't ask and be stupid and hurt.

Where you contacted by Les Butters at Chandlers Farm Equipment? They are based in the top end of the county and can be reached on 01406 423333. I've got a Tigerspeed up for grabs too, it is the same as the GTM machine and is in the classifieds. Chandlers are nearer than Jonesie.
  7. You and the Missus riding the brakes John?
  8. Sorry Steve, not my hand nor indeed anyone I know!
  9. I think I'll give it a miss thanks.

At this point, I might point out the a new chainsaw comes with an operators book that explains all of this and more, but added to that, if you don't know what you are doing, perhaps you ought to be educated at a proper establishment. I know we have all got to start somewhere but a question such as this makes me think that you should be doing this at a professional level. Sorry if the truth hurts.
  11. Bandit sidewinder? What grabs your attention? what is it's USP? How much?
  12. Cracking view and you get paid too. I'd shame the volunteers for not getting up to see that view!
  13. If you want a tipper making and cannot find one off the shelf - why don't you go to a local Ag Engineer with your requirements. I did just that with two or three trucks that I had after getting seriously fed up with the standard of workmanship etc as supplied by the local bodybuilders who built down to a price for the local Transit suppliers! The ram/scissor/pump assembly is a kit, the rest is just blacksmithery. Mine cost slightly more but the quality was awesome and they built what I asked for and not what they thought they could get away with.
  14. Question. Were they taking the logs because they are impoverished and cannot afford to buy logs (TAX, insurance etc) or Were they taking the logs because they think that other peoples property can be taken as they have as much right to it? The van doesn't need taxing testing and mot for their purposes?
  15. You should of advised him that the council should charge him to clear up the rubbish and the leaves!

  17. Had a laugh at Loughborough Fair last night. It gets bigger and bigger, although the big rides seem to be surrounded by the "hook a duck" type deal and burger stands where the burgers seem to be on the flip mats for ages. Prices seem to be pegged at around £2.50 for the routine and the bungy ball was £10 a go - much cheaper than of a few years ago! I did have a giggle watching one stomach churning ride, a lady of large proportions was turfed off because they guys could not shut the safety cage over her gut! I would love to see the video of the show break down - its busy right up until the pubs throw out then its all gone by morning! Must be chaos. They all meet next at the Goose Fair in Nottingham then they all go on holiday to "The Reef".
  18. Hey Josy your Gandini would be good enough for large scale places like the power stations (if you have enough of it) but not for for individual boilers that are fed with augers as the odd shapes will block or jam the feed system. There is a heizohack for sale in the classified section. Cheers
  19. I bet the turning circle is right nimble!
  20. It's in better nick than mine:sneaky2: But mine has a winch and needs a big pot of tlc.
  21. I though it was an old photo of one of my jobs from years back.
  22. Think of that as pulling power when your out tonight!
  23. Class act! Have you got their number - my grass need ploughing
