  1. Twas me...I think...anyway, come to the open day and see the new tool....
  2. Outdoor Power Tools were the original Timberwolf dealers before the became GreenMech dealers. As previous TW people, they will have done shed loads in the past.....Stephen or David Gregory are top engineers in the workshop and they have a depot in Derby (top side of town) and in Glenfield in Leicester. Derby office is 01332 830449
  3. I got from Crete a bronzed God albeit a fat one....off to Balmers open day tomorrow (Thursday), I understand that our new Arborist 150 is there and I've the job of taking back to the factory ready for Saltex..... Impressive spec and a damn good price too.... the official launch is at Saltex but come to Burnley for a sneaky preview....
  4. Not too shabby, I have to say....our CS100 with the 18hp has an opening a tad smaller than a sheet of A4, is listed at a tad over 4 and a half K plus vat, comes via a dealer near to you with 12months warranty. That is what we get on the engines from the supplier. There is precious little else to go wrong!
  5. How much is the Bandit 4" machine? The warranty package sounds attractive but there ain't such a thing as a free lunch!?!
  6. I learnt to drive in the first Landrover to be registered in Hereford and Worcester many years ago now....I wonder where she is now.....chassis number was just over 100 I think.
  7. Anyone looked into the Kramer articulated mini loading shovels? Kramer is part of the Wacker Neuson thing and their diggers are quality stuff!
  8. The GreenMech CM220 runs a 55hp as a road tow. So you could well be there with your tractor, how much can it lift close too?
  9. I'd buy a GreenMech....... Come to Saltex and the APF. Use your 5k as a deposit and vat on a new machine and get piece of mind, warranty and a shiny new machine! I'd get to see what's new from GreenMech.........
  10. You've had her in bits, why? I would've said go for a full refund at minimum as it appears to be unfit for purpose; namely, that wouldn't last long before going bad!....
  11. I am trying to get there myself although I don't get back til the 29th.

Good find Lee. I enjoyed the flash mob in the food court where a load get and sing the Hallelujah Chorus! Epic stuff.

    Funny stuff!?!

Try some of the others too. Tetris and the dj entertain!
  14. Come to Saltex and the APF. There will be an interesting concept on the GreenMech stand along with the QuadChip.
  15. A couple of funny things that help you waste the day!!! Scary Spider - Play Free Online Games
  16. Balmer's Garden Machinery, the GreenMech and John Deere dealers (amongst other things) are having a two day open day at Laund Farm, Burnley. BB12 9DU on the 29th and 30th of August. 10 while 4 both days with catering on site. They will have available all the stuff that they sell, including John Deere, Stihl, and GreenMech. Steve Pulman, Simon Philips, Kelvin Barton will be there from Balmer's and Al Thompson will be there from GreenMech and Peter Bagguley may show up on the last day if he is back from holiday! GreenMech might give their new, as yet unreleased, 6" chipper a pre-Saltex showing but keep that news quiet! A 1928 Safetrac may be there, a QuadChip or Trac may be there as well as a CS100 too. Get to Launds Farm if you are not going to Saltex....
  17. I had a stand there some years ago. As far as a woodchipper supplier goes, it wasn't worth going to as the people who visited, weren't the buyers of that type of thing. However, the show did seem to be friendly and some other good exhibits to spend and afternoon doing nowt...I had a brilliant time with Martin from Tafe tractors showing him how to use a Robinson Reciprocating double saw that he had restored and was using for the first time!
  18. Balmers Garden Machinery from Burnley cover that area too. Call Simon Philips on 01282 453900. No idea on rates, the have GreenMech and Timberwolf on the fleet.

    Jokes???

4 people in the carriage of a train - an Englishman, a pretty young blonde girl, an ugly old woman and a Frenchman. It all goes dark when the train goes through a tunnel. In the dark there's the sound of an almighty slap, and when the train emerges from the tunnel the Frenchman is rubbing his face, and there's a huge red mark on his cheek. The old lady thinks: "I bet that Frenchman fondled the blonde in the dark and she slapped him." The pretty young blonde thinks: "I bet the Frenchman tried to fondle me in the dark, got the old lady by mistake, and she hit him." The Frenchman thinks: "I bet that Englishman fondled the blonde in the dark, but the blonde thought it was me and hit me." The Englishman thinks: "I hope there's another tunnel coming up soon so I can slap that French **** again."
  20. Mail-order? How about some of the site sponsors listed lower down the main page?
  21. Why do you want a mobile mechanic Jonny? Can't you fix the stuff yourself or take it to a dealer? I would ask the likes of Chippendale plant if they want the job, they have some good spanner staff and would love to get some outside work in....
  22. Hi Jon, I have a halfords top/bottom boxes, MAC top box x 2 all off of eBay and top stuff the halfords is too. All they are short of is a "good" badge like MAC or Snap On.....
  23. Parker Plant have tracked machines and Malcolm Herbert has towed machines of the top of my head. I'll ask the GreenMech rep tomorrow morning and repost!
  24. I married a southern girl once, tasted horrible too.
