I have a 55 plate crewcab not my first choice of vehicle but I am very impressed with it beats the pants off firms new mitsi L200 I use mine to tow a vermeer chipper and there's not much that will stop if off road wet slopes mud etc. If I was going to change it would be for an xlt or the wildtrack models in a colour instead of the white I have currently. Big thumps up

  7. Have recently got myself a vermeer chipper And it seems every time I take out I get a puncture I was wondering if anyone knows of a heavy-duty three that might cope with the off road conditions better that the current standard road tyre ??????

  9. My company has lots of these on another contract and thay hate them not alot of good feedback for them.
  10. Got I very Sharp double bitted axe handy not so fast on my feet but can throw that axe well. A good blow from that axe would slow them down enough and then its a date with Mr vermeer.
  11. Some maps have notable tree's on them there are large oaks in savernake forest marked on OS maps.

Popped out to buy a couple of supplies (tarp gloves gaffer tape) and noticed that had chainsaw bellies in there ten pounds a pair the shop is called inexcess that have branches at ringwood salisbury southampton. Thay sell bankruptcies stock so limited quantity all good makes jonsered husqvarna etc Just sharing

  18. Its a great spot for sucking thick shakes and mcflurry's in its shade LOL That is one awesome old tree have often wondered about its past we often stop in at those services be intresting if anyone knows any thing.
  19. I can say from experiance first hand that the AA badge means in real product to the public 0 !!!!! sorry to sound negative but this is my own experiance. I have worked for AA firms that do the 020 for ground work, climb and cut wearing jeans, have no idea of correct pruning cutts etc I agree that the industry needs some representation but it must and should be one that all tree owners are aware of not just the local autorities who subcontract firm and use it as a measure of that subcontractor. If AA Tech would, i would like to chat this over face to face as its some thing that realy chews my asre. If next person that phones me for a quote etc says are you an AA arborist then i might eat my hat and for now i think that hats safe. As none of my customershave every heard of the arb ass and the i only live a couple of miles from there old HQ ?????????? Again sorry but in my eyes the aa need to be a (tree)house hold name. Just my opinion shot me if you wish

  21. I am shopping for pfanner type c's, some climbing bits and bobs beeners etc one of those harkie jackets may be some new boots.
  22. Will be collecting monday fingers crossed and already have a few jobs lined up for it.
