At risk of sounding stupid but it depends on the machine driving the pto and what chipper i have used a 14" premier hanging of a little landini tractor great feed whole stems of beech in her but the tractor struggled with the load big chipper big tractor big bucks on the flip side tractor could lend its self to do other tasks (drag grain trailer full of the chippings) ?????????
  9. I'm investing in some equipment i have the smaller stuff covered ie saws, blower, hedge cutter, lowering kit etc now i am looking for a chipper(the needle) the problem is my very small budget i will be selling my project car to fund the chipper and will have between 2-3k to spend. This rules me out of my first choice and second even thrid so am looking at small chippers things like the v-twin petrol powered timberwolf and to be honest thats about my knowledge of smaller chippers can any who shed some light on these wee beastie's ???? I have spoted some possible bargains on ebay but what with so many scams and old dogs on there, i dont want to waste my cash. PS this machine will be a weekend pj tools this may have an influence on what machine is suitable any advice very greatfull.
