  1. There's a fine line in who gets done. example; about 10years ago i caught 2 men trying to brake into my car at the supermarket. I gave chase over a motorway bridge, they stopped one of them pulled a stanley on me. The other took a swing at me and i nutted the F ker then kicked him in the spuds. the other approched with stanley(shaking like hell) and i knocked 7 kinds of shite out of him. Anyway the police turned up and said that because they ended up worse off and its 2 against 1 with there stories. I could get done for assault even tho they tried to brake into my car. Luckly no charges were made but there is a fine line to cross or there use to be. Maybe things have changed or i had a copper who couldn't be arsed who knows. Like i said before Dean 100% Behind you But if you were driving or you did catch up with them could be in the situation.

  9. Well done Dean, I would have done the same. It's about time people stood up to Knobs like that instead of socity being afraid of the youngsters. Such chicken shits picking on someone so vunrable. Sorry for the language it makes me angry my dad's been targeted a few times, come home black and blue one day. The most recent was his house robbed but thats for another thread i guess (Intresting story tho). Like you said Dean hope the guys ok and doesn't just give up on life and some do.
  10. By the sounds of it, the builder is nipping in between jobs or when he's in the area. Knows there on holiday so its no rush. I think people are right there is no passion in work no more, just there to earn a quick buck. It makes the good people look bad:thumbdown:. I just think if you want a job done properly do it youself. In a way i work mythodicaly take my time and care get it right, Don't have to go back over it again.
  11. Ha HA:001_smile: that was always going to hit his truck
  12. Went to do a quote the customer was cuckoo, the quote got excepted and she said hold on a minute. I waited and she come out with a cheque said here you go:confused1:. I said i haven't even done the work yet you shouldn't give out Money like that. Certain people these days would have taken the cheque and ran. Another one, Hot sunny day doing a conifier hedge and the customer comes out and says I'll be out for the rest of the day the house is open help yourselves to tea, coffee, sarny. Oh and also sit down in the front room its really cool and shady in there. The whole house would be full of conifier the dry stuff that chaffes everywhere. I turned around and said no thanks for the offer i would preffer if you lock everything up.
  13. Probably not that good so here goes. Me and our 3 brothers had a baby sitter from hell they were like hitler, i was about 7 at the time she sent us to bed early. Oviously being boys we didn't like it so we decided to empty the intire contents of upstairs downstairs. It started small toys, pillows, then it got bigger a mattress then a bed by the time we finished we had our own little flat we were completly cut off from down stairs. The babysitter never come back again:001_smile:
  14. The wife just read what i put and twatted me across the head. See i was right:001_smile:
  15. Fingers and thumbs can be sown back on, but a cut with a chainsaw is messy. they might get fed up with an axe and get someone in who knows what there doing. The wife bit understandable sometimes' can't live with them- Can't live without them .
  16. Old news or not i think you shouldn't be aloud to get a chainsaw so easy. Electric chainsaws should be banned IMO.
  17. Just something i give to customers if neccessary, for them to understand. TPO.pdf
  18. With me the injections worked for a while, everyones different. I would try injections first and physio and try and leave op as last resort. The physio said to me if my back is going to go again it will be above or below the scar. Same with my shoulder a consultant said op, then i spoke to another one and he said i'll give you steroid injections to see how it goes because op should be a last resort, it could make it worse. Hope this help it's a hard descion.
  19. Charlieh, If you think it worth keeping i would see if he can pay for the parts or get postage back. If not open a dispute With ebay. If you payed through pay pal arn't you insured up to £500.
  20. Someone surely should of kept an eye on the climber, to warn groundies of this. On the other hand i always look up if im about to go under a tree to clear up common sense really. Both partly to blame here IMO.
  21. :thumbup1:Well done steve, great site.
  22. I would say it gets checked regularly anyway, im guessing if it did fall it wouldn't damage much anyway doesn't look that big. It's nice giving it a second chance, looks like its growing well. Ian
