  2. Big A, what size mill are you thinking of getting, I've borrowed the logosol big mill pro. My mate has brought another 880 and on about getting a double ended bar to fit them both on.

    Is there any preference on a chainsaw mill, borrowed a logosol to try out over christmas, or are the mills much all the same. It also means i can get to try out my new toy ms880 , Think i got a good price for it £860inc 3ft bar. Any help would be great , Have a good christmas everyone.
  4. Cheers for the advice, The cheaper way is to buy it off them as fire wood. Even tho it has much more uses.
  5. Tree near fence,camera man proberly P***ed,Did take ages to do last time you let trainee use saw first.
  6. I can think of a few uses , but they just cut the main timber, everything else they class as fire wood. all the better for me if i just buy it as fire wood. like i said before they are cut in 2m lenghts at least
  7. Dont no who the seller is, its only by invite only a friends been invited. The wood will be up for tender in a 3-4 months . I think the fire wood is in the back pocket type thing. There is surprisingly a lot of waste
  8. Hereford area, Its various sizes from 5inch up to 15inch plus. Its just the left overs from the 240 oaks that are being felled, some of it can be planked, charcoal etc. just ideas
  9. Just a bit of advice really. Ive been offered to buy 4 stacks of oak, roughly 45ton per stack there in 2 meter lengths. There classing it as fire wood, how much do you think i should offer for it. Any advice would be great.
