  1. I have to be honest mate it looks boring! a mate of mine [years in the advertising/marketing industry] told me a few months ago, if it doesn't look really interesting at first glance, they won't read it, I said to him, I've spent thousands on advertising over the years and you're the first person to tell me that, my own site is pathetically boring! i'm in the process of getting it changed............ Suggestions, more colour, more big pictures.....
  2. When the AA stop suggesting the majority of us [non AA contractors] are a load of ''rub outs'' I might, just might consider going to their show!
  3. IMO the AA show lacks character,TBH it feels like another money grabbing venture the AA are so fond of, its a bit like Saltex, the APF and Capel Manor are by far the best two shows, I'll definitely be at the APF! P.S shouldn't the AA be a registered company? using charity status doesn't fool anyone! sorry if I sound harsh, but this is what we all think...
  4. I think individual pots might of been better Dean, less root disturbance, cheap plastic cups with a hole in the bottom work well, anyway great results so far well done
  5. Cool, calm, and collected! Reg Coates for MBE services to arboriculture, another brilliant tutorial mate!
  6. Great thread, so important to keep the traditions alive.

  13. TBH they aren't actually that bad, I remember the day you're thinking of, don't know what happened that day, just a case physics not in my favour...
  14. I towed trailers and chippers 12v wired with a 24v set up, I never had a problem
  15. Doesn't look like they are too concerned with TM or H&S
  16. I know mate, my post was Monday morning humor...........
  17. Having owned two Cabstars, one Nissan Sunny, two Micras, one Pathfinder and a Navarra pick-up, and not having a ''single'' problem with any, did you read that? not a ''single'' problem with any! we'll have to agree to disagree.......... unlike my brand new Transit which broke down on the way home!
  18. Scrap stay well clear, in a poll I read, French vehicles were rated the most unreliable by European users
  19. Nissan Cabstar, NO over vehicle in any shape or form will beat this truck for reliability, longevity, and weight carrying! the only faults with this truck is the cab isn't the most comfortable and they are pants off road in single rear axle design, I speak from years of truck owning experience! I've owned the lot, and Transits/LDV trucks would be close to the bottom of my list! they are cheap for one reason!
  20. Norwich road, is actually part of Kurdistan
  21. The AA is a big no no, ISA and NPTC A-OK
  22. You wouldn't catch me anywhere near a third world country, far too uncivilised for my liking
  23. I must have been more bored than you today Dean, because I just watched your video right through lol
  24. I'll second that!
